i remember when i first got into war thunder i played this tank and was amazed it only got 8 shots and got super confused why sometimes my shells would penetrate and kill enemies and whythey wouldnt other times (it was because i took an even distribution of all the ammo types and was firing HE and shrapnel shells at fully armored tanks)

But that's not how overpressuring works.. Overpressuring is when the round FAILS to penetrate. Otherwise it's just the HE filler.

@@voxthesergal Some APHE rounds have enough explosive filler that they trigger overpressure after penetrating and instantly kill the entire crew if they explode the fighting compartment, regardless of what the shapnel does. Most rounds don't have enough, as the threshold is around 125-150g of TNT equivalent. The Italian 90s APHE rounds have 180, or a whopping 520g of TNT equivalent, more than enough to overpressure.

Did anyone figure out a solution to that annoying changelog. They slowed the mouse look movement (c-key) in vehicles, but not in planes. It's kind of annoying, in a tank, I have to turn it to 100%, but once I hop in a plane, it have to turn it back to 32% . Any ideas, BawZ had this issue, but I don't think everyone did.

Bro i was the same. Uninstalled for a year and recently got back into it. Now i only play for fun, not to grind. I cant believe how much fun it is using HE only on the T series and the 2S3M insta delete. I'm having so much more fun using non conventional ways to kill. My K/d dropped from 3.5/1 to 2.5/1 in 2 weeks but it's so much more enjoyable now

A challenge: take out a low-mid tier SPAA (BTR, M16, milk truck etc.) and use it for AA only (other than for self-dense) and get an ace (i.e., shot down 5+ planes). In over 8000 matches of taking out SPAAs as my 2nd spawn I only managed to get two 4-kill games (once using a wirbel and another with a milk truck). You’re much better at WT than I ever was so maybe you can do this.

Play naval it'll sharpen you up. Other suggestion is AB but don't trust the lead indicator. Had 9 kill spaa games in it with wirb.

Hey Odd, it's the hurricane 40mm guy again with an idea, not so much a challenge. play the daimler AC mk.1 up at 4.7-5.0 with the firefly and the other 17 pounder spam the brits have. The thing about the AC Mk.1 is unlike the m22 the british 2 pounder has a good bit more pen(with the APHE) over the american 37mm, so penning panthers, tigers and konix tigers is actually doable even from a 100+ meters. it's just a fun little game quirk, and makes german mains mad because they have almost learned to expect the m22's but the Daimler is very unexpected. Just a fun idea from the Hurricane Guy.

I like the tank but in my experience you need a cap to get more ammo but this tank is slow and also un-armoured so getting to the cap is very difficult and especially in town maps i wouldn’t suggest it as a good tank destroyer i would just get the su-122
