If you give it a covered, dark place to "escape to" when trying to move her, rather than trying to trap her in a clear container, it would be less stressful, for both of you, and much easier. They won't particularly want to bolt into the open. They'd rather bolt into something that is dark and feels safe. You could get a little pvc pipe with some dark coloured paper, clothor something inside it, and put it down next to her without moving it, then when she feels she needs to get away from you, the pvc hidy hole would be the favorable place to go.

@@Arhxy I never mentioned a cup. Anyways, to solve this problem, simply close the end the spider crawled into, immediately after it crawls in, so it cannot come out and attack u. Then place the whole thing down where ur moving it to, remove the lid or whatever the entrance is covered with (quickly to avoid tempting a bite). Then the spider will come out whenever it feels like coming out.

@@Arhxy to add to my last reply: while my method might be more safe and less stressful for both spider and owner, I guess it wouldn't make for very exciting video footage, cos u might be waiting and watching a while before the spider actually decides to come out and into its enclosure. Unfortunately, almost almost any entertaining video of animals and creatures is inevitably going to result in some stress occurring, so stressing the animal is almost necessary for entertaining footage to take place unless u have a lot of patience and time to film and edit out all the boring footage.

Hello! Arachnologist here! I remember this beautiful tarantula, and when you told us she has been in that burrow for a year and you dont know why, maybe I can help you with that. Most tarantulas from Thailand, and other 3rd world countries stay in there burrows for very long periods of time, the reason is their eyes. Your tarantula's eyes are supposed to focus on prey, and moving objects. She will not be able to see too well in the sun, or any light, etc. She can still see and defend herself if need be, but they would prefer to stay in their burrow, and wait for prey to wonder in to meet their fate. I hope this helps!

Extroverts can be perfectly fine alone but they have less energy that way while interverts can be perfectly fine around others they just have more energy alone.
