Can confirm beating Ripto causes Moneybags to disappear, as the ending cutscene is what gets you your gems back, so this run couldn't do Ripto early. The same applies to the first Sorceress fight in Spyro 3, since beating her triggers the sequence to get your gems back.

My childhood - Spyro made my childhood so amazingly creative… i just it to draw own worlds, own adventures, i learned counting and calculating with higher numbers than in school, it made me thinking out the box cause i didnt wanted to pay moneybag everytime ( i was so proud to discover a shortcut in the swamp world in midday garden in spyro 3), it gave me interest and feeling for colors, it made me collect things and so much more ❤❤❤ i love it and i played it in reverse order 3,2,1 😂

Reasoning for the hit Ripto skillpoint In the Gulp fight hitting Ripto grants a skillpoint, wich you can achieve by using the rockets Hitting him in the Crush fight doesn't grant a skillpoint due to not having an actual way of hitting him, as the double jump is not an intended mechanic

24:34: Yes, that is how swim in air works with Zoe, as Zoe not only stores Spyro's position, but state as well. In Spyro 3, there is an incredibly easy way to get swim in air in Dino Mines where, after you leave the water, you are very close to Zoe. Simply swim to the surface, close to the shore, and dive down towards Zoe. She will zap Spyro as he dives. Now die, and Spyro will respawn, on land, swimming. Also, M.

I remember finding the Breeze Harbor swim-in-air by accident as a kid, and eventually was able to get it consistently (press your head into the stairs after filling the pool). Surprising Dayo didn't know about it. It might be suboptimal in most runs (and any% probably doesn't go to harbor at all) so that's probably why.

Spyro 2 is the first game I 100%ed. Guess how many tries it took me to beat TROUBLE WITH THE TROLLEY EH? NaN. I didn't. I used that air swim spot. It's a fun trick question.

24:36 spyro nerd here 🤓, she is right yes, a good exmaple of this being put into use is in dino mines after the underwater section, zoe is hanging out right after you get out. If u are in the right spot u can dive and on the exact frame you get zapped and enter the water you can get a swim in air. you have too die first before accessing the swim in air though
