Anthony had been in and out of foster care for most of his life. Everything changed when his teacher Bennie decided to adopt him and become the mother he never had but always wanted.

There's a girl in my class. Her home life is definitely not healthy. It's not the WORST compared to other stories you hear, but it's not nice. We have such a connection. I'm only 24, she's 8.5, but gosh darn, there's something in me that wants to take her in. Even for just sleepovers and breaks from that house.

May GOD shower this kind lady with BLESSINGS... ten thousand folds to what she offered the student; may the student AVOID burning his bridges and walk away from the very community/lady who reached out to him. He has athletic inclinations. I have enough historian knowledge of the what that may mean, if he were to become a BIG star. Would he see love and beauty in those who bear his semblance? Would he be like those with the Kardashians? Be CAREFUL, young man!

This story touches my heart. Having been a Social Work Practitioner, I know what it's like to drown in the system. It's a miracle to survive! Children have a deep seated desire to be accepted and loved. Thank you for helping him to look at the world, and help him to embrace his future. My mom was adopted abd I always said there is a birth mother but sometimes the women who is your birth mother isn't meant to be with u for life and God has another parent for u. God has a plan for us all. God bless these people
