Venomous snake keeper here. You absolutely CANNOT suck the venom out of the bite. You need to get to a hospital asap and pray they have antivenin, and if they do, then you pray for help to pay that hospital bill.

Yeah I wonder what is up with him saying that. If he was trying to be funny or dumb. I've seen time and time again, people saying not to do it and explaining why not. I think it was even on myth busters that you shouldn't do it.

6:59 It's actually worse if you attempt to suck poison out of a snake bite, regardless of how fast you attempt to do it. This is mainly because the venom spreads too quickly for trying to suck it out to be effective. And, if you use the "cut and suck" method of applying a tourniquet above the wound, then cutting around it to suck the venom out, you're simply just injuring yourself further and making it easier for the wound to get infected. On top of that, the tourniquet, though it's doing what it's supposed to do, makes it even more dangerous as it cuts off the blood flow and concentrates the venom, making it more potent and faster-acting. Essentially, you're just hastening your own death by trying this, instead of immediately seeking medical assistance. 7:10 No, Matt, that is _NOT_ how medication works, especially snake antivenom. Snake antivenom is derived from the actual venom from the species of snake whose venom it's designed to counteract, introducing antibodies from the snake to help neutralize the venom, working similarly to a vaccine in a way. Blood coagulation has no real role in this process, and would probably make things worse in a similar way to attempting to perform the aforementioned "cut and suck" method that has been a popular but debunked "remedy" for venomous snake bites for decades.

P. sure having Mahky Mahk on every flight is a reference to him claiming he would have stopped the Nvr 4get hijackers if he had been on the flight. And yes, his phrasing seemed to suggest he would have saved all four planes from the passenger cabin of the one plane he was supposedly nearly booked on. Which does beg the question, if he’s that omnipotent, why couldn’t he do anything from the ground?

Thats funny. This weekend i was chatting with my mom and finding out about her familys past, and i found out her dad had wired up a tv in the 60s&70s in the passenger seat so he could watch tv on the go. He passed in the late 70s so i know he was not the inventor, but i found it to be interesting timing of finding out that knowledge and the info in this video

15:01 This is a trick question for centrifugal force is a fictional force . . . well, to an extent. It only exists in a highly specific frame of reference that we will never experience, hence it doesn't ever exist within our perception of the realm in which we exist. Whenever someone refers to to centrifugal force, what they really mean is centripetal force. Surely Kinsey wouldn't make such a blatant mistake as centrifugal vs centripetal force. Therefore, it has to be a trick question!
@KinseyFromThisIs9 күн бұрын
while I'm well aware that what is often referred to as "centrifugal force" is actually inertia, I phrased the question in direct reference to the language used in the patent. check it out for yourself, Patent Number US3216423A
