I'd get this if I could use it as a VST in Reaper. Discovered how to get a not very dissimilar effect just a few days ago (by tightening the stereo field -- I'm a noob) but a VST would be cool.

ValhallaRoom was actually the inspiration for this. It's a bit smoother though, Tinyspace has a lot more artifacts and jank (on purpose, for texture). But before I made this, I was using ValhallaRoom for this purpose!

not possible without making it a VST which is a whole other beast than making a Max4Live device. I’m dipping my toes into proper coding, but I’m a ways away from that at the moment However, you can purchase Max4Live as an add-on to Standard which would allow you to use this and many other awesome devices

I know you're just being a troll, but there's an opportunity for education here: for people who actually want to achieve this with other reverbs, if you happen to have ValhallaRoom it's the only one I've tried that lets you get reverbs that short really easily (that also sound good). The rest of the ones I've tried limit you from getting tails that short, and I was kind of getting bored of the character of ValhallaRoom. That's what prompted me to make this tool

oh another way you could achieve this if you're limiting yourself to stock ableton tools is by using a gate over only the wet signal of the reverb and sidechaining it to the dry tight drums and setting the attack and release really short. definitely a different character than the device in the video but the end goal is the same
