The previous ones always felt muddy and veiled no matter what EQ setting. I actually preferred the Buds A over the last gen pros. Also, the newer processor is so much faster at booting the built in firmware. The previous models could take up to 8 seconds to connect while these are almost instantaneous

Conversation detection on first Buds slaps. It not only switches to transparency, but it also pauses whatever you were listening so you can actually hear what someone's saying. A bit disappointed regarding the codec mention in the video, they are BT5.4 so must support LC3 as well, and even in the video they show that it has Opus support. LC3 support is a big plus as low latency at higher quality, and handle bad signal a lot better, so those who are e.g. walking around the house should notice that it's better quality. Much prefer this over paying QC/Sony/Samsung for a codec as no guarantee that in a few years devices will still support it, and also e.g. Samsung codec without a Samsung phone.

Its crazy to think that people got paid to do whatever this is supposed to be. A review? An unboxing? First thoughts? 11 minutes of pretty useless content that has the information of a 2 minute video. He doesn't know that there is a separate app for non-google phones, did not bother to click the obvious settings icon for the equalizer, didn't do something as simple to check whether convo detection will work for humming or any other noises, also said that the full feature set only works on the latest pixel devices, but in reality they work up until pixel 6 which is quite far from the "latest". Also listening impressions? Absolute bare minimum as he just covered a frequency chart and said that the earphones don't distort on higher volumes... 11 minute video where the only useful takeaways are a couple charts grabbed online and the fact that it doesn't support hi-res audio. Sure, that could also be a script writing issue but still. Yikes.

Actually they work better on iPhone lol, ironically. I have the pixel 9 and the iPhone 15 pro, for some reason these buds lag on video on the Pixel but not on iPhone. When conversation awareness activates , it comes on suddenly instead of fading in like the AirPods 2 , but in the iPhone they do a split second fade in/out, which is better than just coming in at once, specially if you have the sound at 80-100%. Due to the Spotify EQ in iPhone , they sound much better in Spotify in iPhone . This is insane .. I have the AirPods Pro 2, the Bose QC for work and bough these to upgrade from the 1st gen Pixel Buds, and was going to return due to the stupid latency on media and having constantly to reset in case. But now I’ll just replace my AirPods for my iPhone with these lol.. Multipoint works fine too. But you have to first set them up either on Windows or Android thru app.

@enderduck425329 күн бұрын
Yeah, that's just a known problem with batteries in general, not unique to this product. And having replaceable batteries just isn't feasible at these sizes. I know there are a bunch of cheap wired options with great sound quality, but the fact is that wires can be inconvenient. Not everyone wants or cares about the best sound quality. Some people just want to listen to things unencumbered by cables flopping around. I mostly use these while cycling, where having a cable would be a nightmare. Wireless earbuds don't exist as a replacement for wired, they exist for a different use case.

What would you say is better - Pixel Buds Pro 2 or Sony wf-1000xm4?
