I eat street food also everywhere I go and no big Issues, sometimes you get a little runny a** but that's it:) The only time I had a problem was in Kenya where I got salmonella and had to be on 14 days antibiotics to stop it:) And there I was only on hotel food, so that tells you something! :) a tip for all, if the food is spicy is good, coz that kills all the bacteria! and tip no. 2: always have a shot of strong liqueur before or after you have eaten your food :) same effect all bacteria dead and you happy :))) and smiley the rest of the day! :)

Super useful vidoes, thinking of coming to El Salvador very soon. People are talking about the Mara gangs and that it's dangerous there. I always take this kinda news with a pinch of salt - hence I'm in Mexio. Please can you let me know what your take on this is? I'm also liking the short vids like this one.
@Travelwithchris2 жыл бұрын
Yes!!! You have to come visit soon! I'll be hosting a group trip to El Salvador the first week of November and you're more than welcome to join! I don't think it is unsafe at all! Like everywhere in the world it is always wise to be aware of your surroundings and not be flashy, but here in El Salvador I haven't felt uncomfortable once and I think it is because the country has cleaned up so much.
@Travelwithchris2 жыл бұрын
And you'll never accidentally end up in an area where there are gangs if you come as a tourist.... it just won't happen at all ☺️

@@Travelwithchris Awesome. Thanks for the advice. I hoped that was the case. I'm here on Cozumel Island in Mexico - super safe, chilled and relaxed. My friend who lives here, says that sometimes there is cartel fighting, but it doesn't affect tourists coming here - highly unlikely to ever come across it. I've been here nearly 6 months - no trouble at all.
