For 60 dollars the molded details should have been painted. Those swirly patterns would have looked stunning in gold and the sparkles would be cute as inset gems. It kinda just looks like a big purple plastic brick from afar. I do think this is one of the better Magic Mixi reveal gimmicks though. Most of the other ones don't have much to offer outside of it's initial reveal but this one also functions as a fortune teller, doll storage, and a usable mirror. I just know this is going to be some kids legit desk mirror for years. I feel like this mirror might also be fun to take apart and reprogram. Assuming it works like other "magic mirrors" you could probably add your own sounds and graphics.

It's the same problem I have with monster high skulltimate secrets. It's fun - once, and after that the packaging is just a giant piece of plastic, that takes up space.

Gimmicky toys like this are fun for as long as It takes to get the toy or doll out of whatever plastic prision it's in, then the thing the toy comes In just becomes a waste of plastic. It makes me unhappy to see all the caldrons and ovens at the thrift store because I know that the most likely next stop for them is a landfill. the plus side for this mystery toy that i like is that the mirror has another function then just a thing to get your doll out of, it's a step in the right direction for battery operated Mystery Toys! 😄👍

That kind of reminded me of Christmas when I was about a 3 year old kid. My parents gave me a jack in the box. I was happily turning the crank when the clown popped out it startled me and I’ve hated jack in the boxes since.

I bought it thinking it was more of a playset it's more of a one time experience lol I was hoping at that price her doll would have been a more better quality, for $60 it would have been alot better if they would have put more production into the actual doll instead of the mirror, and it's not even like a playset she only fits a small part inside and it also has no space inside to store anything

I honestly hate the packaging on all of the Pixlings dolls! It's so pointless and wasteful that it really makes me not want to buy the dolls that much. The high price points for what you get from this line are a huge turnoff for me as well because I hate surprise packaging and gimmicks on most fashion dolls!🖤💜

I wish there was a little more playability with the playset. If it was a wardrobe, or if any part of it could open to creat a little background. I don't know, it's not even a mirror. It's just to big for a fortune teller, it's not enough I fear for such a big playset. You can get smaller stuff with way more playability.

The one thing I truly dislike about this line..my only problem at all...the exclusives. I'm not buying many multiples to get the rare doll. That's the disappointment of this and other toy sellers...exclusives and exclusive store placement so us outside USA can't buy it...I.e. I happened to get the uncommon version of her, but honestly, I like the common one better… the colors are way more beautiful on the common one… I wish I got her instead…🙈🩷 I can send you some pictures of mine if you’d like to see her…
