HereWeGoAgain - Well said. If Toyota built it ( miracles happen, the fenders are going to be aluminum, not Carbon Fibre. The powertrain is more than powerful enough, but there are those who can’t get enough, so, no matter what, there’s never enough power. The TRX changed this market of truck, but not necessarily for the better. That truck truly is overpowered, especially for real world day to day driving. Fuel economy is a joke, you cannot legally use all that horsepower, so unless you have access to a high speed off-road track that doesn’t have too serious of jumps (it doesn’t fly well) you can never use all the power there. The Raptor is actually reasonably powered for today’s market. Currently. They will go into the ludicrous mode like Ram with at least 703 hp, probably 730 hp, just to compete. For what? I’m not sure, but compete, nonetheless.

Cool concept! I still wonder why major automotive manufacturers build these IFS suspension based trucks/suvs and keep using these steering racks that have tiny rod ends that are prone to breaking? New Broncos are having this problem when 37s are added anda little "wheeling" goes down...Makes you think they could design a beefy proper steering setup to accommodate the beefier control arms, spindles and coilovers the end user keeps buying..🧐🤔

Question y'all, I am trying to search for data about the Tundra 2022 Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's crash test, or when it will be performed. One criterion I have is safety. The last Tundra model had subpar ratings (which is why I will not purchase it), while the 2021 F-150 had excellent scores across the board. The Tundra's reliability and durability are well renowned. If the 2022 Tundras crash test results are anything like the previous generation... this would make the F-150 more appealing to me.

The 37’s and upgraded suspension look good. More mid-travel than long-Travel based on the poke. The wide body fenders are out of proportion. The black fender surrounds against the white body make it look like the tires are 6” inside the fenders. Without travel/clearance/approach/departure specs it’s kinda hard to tell. I would have also liked to see a version of the truck with the exact same suspension upgrades on 35’s and 37’s without the wide body kit. Looks like they extended some of the front trim pieces to fill space between the tube bumper and the area on both sides of the grill. Makes the lower front look long. The redesign added 4.5” to the overall length compared to the previous Gen. Adding longer front bumpers and trim only adds to the underbite. Makes it look nose heavy and susceptible to plowing when transitioning off steps slopes or in the whoops. I like the new tundra but I think they could do much better. Give trucks to Addictive Desert Designs, King, Icon, and a few others and I’m pretty sure their builds will have the right balance between design aesthetics, functionality and performance.
