Please don't take this the wrong way, but keep in mind, the essence of your channel is what has built your subscriber base. My GF and I have watched your fam for years and have always really liked how you're not like the other channels. So I hope you guys keep going the way you have, without changing too much. So so so excited for you lap next year, really enjoy your familty trips, and your solo trips are always great and some what cringeworthy watching those bushes scratching down the side of your 300. You guys are the only KZbinrs that I would ever inspire to be you guys Funny, laid back and honest. You're not pushy with any of your products and it never feels like an ad. I truly believe that ever product you have is a well worthy investment. Absolutely love your channel Cam, Tiff, Chloe and Brodie. Further more I'm also one that has been a big fan of TIAV but have recently Unsubscribed from all social media as they have lost my interest and become unrelatable to me and my family. We love your family and you guys make it feel we are part of it. Thanks for the time and effort you put into your channel and hope we can meet you guys as you pass through our beautiful City Adelaide as your doing your lap.❤

TIAV push everyone else aside. I love the channel just the way it is. Wouldn’t change a thing, so “for normal people just like Tiff Chloe Brodie and you Cam” TIAV are full of themselves and out of reach for ordinary people. I bet I’m not the only one with that opinion. Stay true to yourselves is my ten cents worth.

I download Google maps offline into my phone for the areas I'm going to which seems to work ok. It has taken us up a fire trail on private property which wasn't so great and I'm not sure how good it would be in the areas you're looking at. Not bad as a backup and doesn't cost anything although the maps have a lifespan so you may have to download them again after a certain time.

G'day Cam, I n regards to Nav, just putting it out there I'm really happy using my Samsung 6 lite tab with Memory Maps for All which uses the Hema maps. Next, maybe you can help me understand, why do so many Westralians goto Queensland or Northern Territory for their big trips and not hmm example Vic High Country and southern areas, Boarder Track, ect. A legit question. Yeah there have been a few but Not a lot. And when some do come this way it's a really short trip epsidode on KZbin.. Anyways still enjoying and do like ya solos, coockups, cheers
@WildTouring9 ай бұрын
I do like the idea of a dedicated tablet with maps, there’s some pretty good mounts for them too! That’s a good question. And honestly I think the reason is that there’s so much readily available content on QLD, that it’s pretty easy to plan a trip. Also, for me personally, QLD/NT weather and 4x4 tracks are pretty similar to what we get in the top of WA. So I just feel a bit more familiar with it! I wouldn’t have a clue where to start in vic high country, probably don’t have the right camping gear and have never driven in snow! But I am absolutely keen to get set up for it and give it a go!! Just need to do a HEAP more research and planning!

I think doing a few episodes with Justin from TIAV might actually be a good thing as I also believe they have gone in the wrong direction and lost a few subscribers along the way, but you and Justin are so different (from what I can gather) and it might actually show us that Justin really is just a down to earth, every day guy and not the person he is perceived to be on KZbin 🤔 I won’t watch TIAV anymore but I would if they were collaborating with you just out of interest sake 😊 Alex on the other hand is such a great guy, he has a terrific channel 👌👌

They were good in the early days but got way ahead of themselves and really cocky. Friends of ours met them and come away with not good a good impression. Seems like that’s the consensus here with most of the comments about them in the negative. I like good genuine down to earth content, like you’re doing, with people out there ,doing it right, and on a budget like most of us are. Like your stuff and your vids, but not everyone can spend 200k to go camping. Obviously the cost of living crisis is a beat up, 😂😂 Cheers
