If custom races like this with Sophy could be shared in the next game, it would live twice as long as GT7 will.

Absolutely. Imagine that. Being able to share your races for other to use. I would love that!

@@MLDOGGno I missed project cars. Lol I left my comment before watching the full video and mentioned TOCA before you mentioned it. I did however play burnout. Such an amazing series. Burnout 4 will always have a special place in my heart.

I totally agree with GT7 being Transformed by creating Custom Races & Historic Liverys. 👍 I love using the 1965 Mini Copper S. (Lightly modified) then creating a custom 20lap Race on various CIrcuits (around 350pp race) using Comfort Softs (25x Tyre Wear & 12x Fuel Usage) Its great fun. 👌 I have personally created to date 4 iconic Bathurst fairly accurate Liverys to recreate some classic bathurst races. 1) 1975 Bathurst Winning Holden Torana L34 (Brock / Sampson Livery) (from BMW M3 Sport Evolution 89) 2) 2002 24Hr Bathurst Debut Winning 427C Holden Monaro livery tribute (Tander/ Richards / Pretty & Mc Conniville Livery) (from a Camaro SS 16) 3) Its Not Bathurst related but still an Iconic Australian Winning livery : - 2016 Targa Tasmania Winning Datsun 240Z livery (1st in Classic GT Class) (from Greddy Fugaz 240Z) 4) 1965 Mini Cooper S "Bathurst" Tribute Livery (its not a realistic accurate Bathurst livery) but just a fun "Bathurst Tribute Livery: to this Legendary 1965 Classic Mini. If interested 3 are listed under Bathurst & 4th under Targa Tasmania in search button. It's so good to see many other players Historic Liverys being loving created & fairly historically accurate tributes, then shared within GT7 Livery Community. Its an awesome addition to the game. Its a refreshing change to GT7 gameplay & creating custom races. Note - do you prefer the Boost function set to Weak or Off when creating Custom Races ? I personally set it to Off but have the A.I opponents PP level slightly higher than my own. It seems Boost set to WEAK the opponents just catch you way to fast (unrealistic). What's your thoughts/ setup regarding boost function. ? Great content as usual Madd Dog Lou. 👍👌🍻😊
@MLDOGG13 күн бұрын
Hey oze, im totally going to check out those liveries! What car did you use for the holden replica? Im really interested in doing a v8 supercars races or something! Yeah, im with you on the boost thing. If you've ever seen the lap times the Ai do when set to weak, it crazy. For realism, i set it to off, but when im doing lengthier races i might set it to weak just to keep me entertained lol. Thanks a lot 👍
@oze-bikes4life66313 күн бұрын
Once you choose your preffered car just type in "BATHURST" into GT7 livery search engine (in game) & so many great liveries pop up.

I have also tried to recreate Group A racing eith authentic liveries. You're absolutely right that they need to be keep absolutely standard bodywork because any changes had to be homologated. That means no extra aero and no widebody modification (which your Unisia Jecs R32 had). I've struggled with getting driveable settings for the Sierra. Its truly a difficult car to drive when modified. I'm going to try your set up to see if it's better than what I'm running at present. You could also technically add the Mercedes 190E and AE86 Corolla, as they also ran in Group A. Further, the Nismo R32 is the more authentic version to use over the V-Spec II, but it's also 400k credits per car...
@MLDOGG11 күн бұрын
Oh damn, yeah the Sierra is a handful. Cool, yeah i would love to hear you're feedback. The trouble i had was waiting for them to appear in the used car dealership.

Do Bathurst 1000 with same cars but Aussie liveries. We had JPS 3 series beamers, black n gold. Was 635 CSL at one stage. Plus the Godzilla's livery from '92 . And heaps of great Sierra liveries, The Supra was there too. Jaguar was also in it, Walkinshaw? Maybe even Rovers.

I wish they would just let the AI use the entire throttle range. It always bogs down the AI's throttle ruining their potential. I can pass a custom grid in 3 laps with similarly powered cars. I usually have to handicap my car on worse tires just to get more out of the races.

Great stiff Lou. I constructed a grid of F1 cars as per your suggestion, and it was great fun. I'll do this one too, but add my own variation by limiting the cars to a PP (600 or 650) to make the racing more even. Of course, certain cars dominated in various eras ... As a note, Jim Richards raced an R32 GTR in Australia, dominating the competition in our Gr A series. The Fred Gibson team he was part of wanted to race it in Japan, but they wanted no part of this car. It was widely recognised as the fastest of all the GTRs, and was the origin of the "Godzilla" name. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWPUfIiXi9uqrsUsi=ae7TGBQ17Cg5wudP Similarly, Dick Johnson's Sierra kzbin.info/www/bejne/eGG3lKOqdtGoaqcsi=8azeNohN4f8mKJVw was also regarded as the quickest in the world, but was in fact dominated in turn by Richards' GTR. Fun times.

I also love custom races. One of the reasons is the AI is much smarter, faster and more competitive. But! Did the AI get slower, dumber with update 1.55? I easily won races today that should have been much more difficult

It looks like they changed the difficulty for 3 WTC events but which way, we dont know. So it's possible Larry

People always complaining about a lack of content, a lack of content compared to what exactly….? Forza with it’s even smaller single player and recycled car models? ACC with only paid DLC and online racing? TDU? Should we have a battle pass in GT7 like the Crew? Or are we comparing it to the PS2 games like GT4 that was far easier to develop where the cars and tracks looked like a child drew them? Where exactly is the lack of content? If you show us your GT profile are we going to see 100% completions on the single player content? All races all circuit experiences all license tests gold all challenges completed? What else are we supposed to have? We have VR, livery editing, photo mode, music rally, music replay, multi month long championships. Custom races, custom lobbies, a literal museum….
@MLDOGG11 күн бұрын
I guess, im refering to the fact that people are getting fed up with updates containing 5 more cars, 3 of which are probably concept.

I’m not trying to knock you directly, I am aware of the malcontents and the silly things they say. I just don’t see what people could be using as a reference. GT is doing content better than any other current racing title as far as I’m aware.

How do you make these races?
@MLDOGG13 күн бұрын
You have to buy each individual car. So that you can put a specific livery on each one and tune them. Custom race setup up to your liking and away you go. P.s. its not cheap lol from memory i think it cost me around 5-6 million
@pixelcultmedia425212 күн бұрын
Once you make a custom grid, you can load it into any race track. So it takes some time to create them but once you build it, it's easy and seamless to use them anywhere.
@MLDOGG12 күн бұрын
@pixelcultmedia4252 exactly! Thats why its worth finding a race category you're interested in. Then you have it for life. Nice.
@oze-bikes4life66312 күн бұрын
As a bonus, if you make opponents cars have a higher P.P Rating then your own car then there can be a decent amount of prize money in custom created race.
