PC players (On Destiny) are straight ass. They've been playing on easy mode for years. No recoil and the same massive hit boxes Destiny has always had. @@bannedmann4469 Kb and mouse is more difficult to master than a controller. Since controller has such bad aim and layout, in order to master the contrroller you have to master aiming. On pc since aiming isnt as difficult as controller it makes it so the mastery of aim is a lot higher than controller. Basically kb and mouse has a low skill floor but a super super high skill ceiling. Controller has a medium skill floor and a medium skill ceiling. Which means you can do a lot more on a kb and mouse than a controller. Also recoil isnt a good idea on pc, they instead opted for spread and not recoil because you cant keep draggin your mouse down like you can on console. Its super easy to control recoil on console but a nightmare on pc, so instead of recoil there is spread on weapons. This basically means that on console as long as you control the recoil it will be 100% accurate on a target, on pc that means no recoil but it will be less accurate because of bloom.

For tips on controller, I personally don't think claw is necessary, because there's plenty of time to redirect your aim with your right stick. However, my biggest struggle is drifting forward because of sprint, so it's very important to get in the rythm of flicking the left stick backwards in between swaps (this is especially important on taniks where drifting forward means death)

For those that don't know any better, weapon dexterity and handling has zero effect on quickswapping. Also make sure you have lunafactions or you won't have the range to hit taniks for max damage.

For controller, you can hold ads + the trigger down , so you only gotta worry about the sprint and swapping. You can try switching your sprint to a button you don't use often or during that fight and hold that button down as well.(Haven't try this method yet, too used to the puppeteer settings, hope it helps)

This quickswap tech has been known about for a while (even back in D1) but up to this point it was mostly used by PvPers because you don't really need to switch weapons that quickly in PvE. Bonus: If you're in the air on a warlock or titan you can use your glide or catapult instead of sprinting.

Been doing this trick for years with bow and hand cannon in PVP. The handling for the weapon your swapping into also affects how quickly you can shoot after swapping as well. HOLD the trigger during the swap to fire the weapon on the first possible frame.

Nobody wants to but it's incredibly good. I know people on Reddit were going REE over it, but: * It doesn't require you to ADS or wait, it happens every shot no matter what * Unstoppable staggers (almost) any non-shielded combatant. This is important because it means with 2 people using it you can stagger Barrier champions non-stop and they'll never barrier. So that 1 mod counters 2 champion types. Pair it with the Overload nade mods and you can put pure DPS weapons in your other 2 slots.

I do this on controller and have no problem both aiming and swapping with my thumb. The main tip if you want to use this for taniks is remember to move backwards after you swap so that you don’t walk into the arc damage while you are swapping.

For my controller users: This is 100% possible. Yes it is difficult, but after enough time and practice you will be able to consistently do it and apply it to a lot of scenarios. It's basically become second nature to me, and might I add, it takes shotgunning and clean ups with snipers to a whole 'nother level. For Titans and Warlocks, I recommend learning the jump cancel quickdraw glitch first. Also, there is a really fast sweet spot that is difficult to consistently get. In non-panic situations, I will opt to wait an eighth of a second to a quarter of a second (Obviously not this precise, but a very slight delay) so that my gun will fire. In crucible this may get you killed, but I'd rather have consistency.

tip for controller players, focus more on aiming your weopons straight than doing the swap perfectly, just mash your sprint button and dont overthink it, and you will start to get into a groove, dont aim at the ceiling, aim first keep your left trigger held down to ads and dont take it off, swap second. that is how i think about it. and i have been doing this swap glitch for multiple years now and from my exeperience it comes with practice. go to eris and get one of those rally flags and go practice a little bit every play session and you should be able to it 2.5 mil at taniks no problem.

There is also an arc mod that cost’s 5 energy that gives you a massive handling buff to shottys when charged with light you just need to run an arc mod along side it. Just a suggestion so you don’t have to use 10 energy for double dex. Keep up the quality vids🙏🏼

It's doable on controller. The best way for me to insure that I get some hot swaps in and also actually hit my shots on the boss was to not do a hot swap after every shot. While this would essentially lower the fire rate and burst dps, it makes the hot swap easier to maintain and actually utilize. So I shoot, shoot, hot swap, shoot, shoot, hot swap.

Anarchy+slug (20shots) beats cloudstrike (27shots) and has higher total damage. Cloud over 4mags is still good but not too impressive. 1 for 1 on taniks itll take just under 17seconds to shoot 1.3m only which is not that great

Don’t stand so close. Make sure the warlock is using lunas bc it means range is dramatically increased so you don’t need to stand right at the edge to get max damage. Someone said flicking your stick down or somethign helped but I need to try myself to see

If you're using Bakris, I think Cloudstrike would still be better because you're losing that arc damage bonus with Anarchy and it's not really being made up with Chaperone. But on the other classes Chappy would probably be better, but idk, I'm no dps expert.

You’re pretty much at the mercy of banshee handing in gunsmith mats (regular vendors can drop it also, but have armor in the loot pool as wel, meaning first you need to get the RNG for a weapon drop vs armor and second you need to actually get Filo to drop in a bit ass loot pool of other guns. I’m so happy I saved 2 auto loading vorpal FILOs when they were dropping all the time even though I wanted the other gun in that focussed umbral (ikelos sniper from the top of my head).
