That guy had a point. I too tried to make levels spending hours tweaking and testing. Nintendo seemingly gave them to one person to play, who did not think them starworthy. No more plays, eventually deleted. The spike maze star run that my kid made in 10 minutes on the other hand got dozens of stars and hundreds of plays. So Fuck that. Never made another level.

This level is a cynical attempt to get some plays as a maker or attention to my channel from gamers that are so determined to beat a level they don't care how stupid it is. But I don't want to be cruel, don't want to spoil anyone's runs, so I'll give you a choice: watch this video for the solution or play this really stupid course over and over again until you guess when to hit the switches. Or, better yet, seek out good levels and fun KZbin content for yourself, instead of just banging your head against the stupid levels Nintendo serves you and the crappy videos trending on KZbin.

That Gheller guy- the one with the second worst level- is a very sad man, and we should show him some compassion. He once traveled to Britain for a year to stalk the Yogscast KZbinrs (Seriously! He stood on the street holding a sign offering $100 to anyone who could get him inside the building!) He doesn’t have a job, but lives off the goodwill of others to make KZbin videos for 60 hours a week. This man does actually have a wife btw. He has 2,332 videos in his channel, but only 590 subscribers. Ever since the Yogscast KZbinrs rejected him back in 2022 he only makes a few dozen videos a year, but he streams on twitch for about three hours almost every day. To me, it’s clear he’s a smart, talented guy who thinks he can only find love through KZbin. He really does just want attention, although I’m not sure why he’s not finding that in his life. People care enough for him to feed him and let him live in their home, and he has a wife that has been with him even through the ludicrous endeavors. I wish he would just realize that.

@@moosemoochie sorry I thought I replied earlier but it got removed because I linked his KZbin. It’s called “Gabe Heller,” just google “Gabe Heller KZbin” and you’ll find it. I don’t think the link in the Panga video works anymore. Once you get there, sort by new and scroll down until you find a video titled “Channel Update: we have 9 days.” That is a fascinating video and tells you a lot about the guy. You can find some great piano and guitar performances by sorting by “popular” and “oldest.” Hope that helps, and I hope this comment is posted!

On the 2nd Dumbest Level Ever, I can't help but think that it was over complicated a bit... With the Solution Video synced up, couldn't you just wait at the first track break and grab the Mushroom where it falls early and go to the end of the Level instead of doing the On/Off Blocks all the way through? You'd just hafta see where the Mushroom falls and be at the right area to grab it... Just a Thought I had on the Process of Clearing it... Respect on the Dedication to clear it in any case... 👍🏼

Why not just wait at the beginning without pressing any switch? The mushroom is going to fall down at the first exit. You can just collect it from there. You can see in the level editor the ends don't have nobs. That's different than in his video where they do

probably because mario maker 1 wasn't as available to everyone, like there was a mario maker 1 on 3ds for example, but it was utter garbage because you really couldn't upload your levels with it for some reason, also it was missing features that wii u version had, and lastly, who really owned a wii u..? wasn't it a failed console, like no one i knew had a wii U, they all had 3ds's at the time, although the 3ds version of mario maker was kinda ass.. oh and they shut down the 3ds/wii U online servers now... hence why i think remaking your levels in mario maker 2 is a good idea if you want your levels played. switch has actually sold really well as far as I've seen. so i think much more players on mm2, therefore more people playing your levels.

Spikes at the bottom of the level create a wall below the screen making it impossible to swim under. I think it was possible to swim under spikes in Mario Maker 1, though I could be misremembering.

First level wasn't anything related to subpixels, you were just jumping too early, it's really annoying when you blame the game for stuff that's unrelated. Spike hitboxes are a rectangle, it's larger on the X axis and not as tall in the Y axis, so you don't have to jump so early to avoid the spike on the floor.
