@Valdemar1902 maybe we have to target the ground with mangonels now. in that case we have two options: 1) anticipate enemies dodge = 50/50 chance of success on avg 2) half mango shoots in front and half behind = "100%" chance to hit but only 50% damage on avg or just try to obliterate the frontline units with AOE, even if sacrificing the efficiency. might work better on anything other than otd though.

springads absolutely do need some work. I like the idea in theory, but who's conga-lining their melee units toward you?

28.20 Keep in mind that they are OD crossbowmen, and have 140 hit points. They are not that bad. However, there is a new patch today that improves them.

Melee damage is better vs OOTD units in general, and I’d only need archers to counter spears

@ are the knights Not better as a Counter for his horseman? I‘m Plat and mostly Go knights archers with French and add spears later When they go cav too. Is it only against OOTD better to Go spears First?

@@chrisnewtownnswthey don’t though, arbs have higher melee armor and access to a ranged armor ability. The counter to arbs is mangonels that’s about it

@@ashtonmayfield9217 if you put a 2000 resources worth of arbs vs 2000 resources worth of archers or horsemen or a combination of spears horsemen and archers I will bet you my life that it will be an easy steamroll for the trash units. Won't even be close. And yes even if the arbs were perfectly kiting
