Agree with everything you said. I just have to get more familiar with exploring free parking options in open country or national forest areas. My comfort and confidence level in my ability to just head out and trust I’ll find a safe and legal place to park, without getting the “knock” in the middle of the night, or a bunch of drunk UTV people stopping, is just not there yet. State and National campgrounds are just too crowded and the reservation system is stressful. So what’s the option? This summer I’m going to brave it.
