I personally as a cotroller player also found out that i really love the feel of the new Better Devils. I got an opening Shot plus Rapid Hit role and I hit more crits and 3taps than with almost any other kind of other 140 handcannon excluding Lunas Howl with this thing. I think Better Devils with a counterbalance mod at 100recoil direction has just such an easy to controll almost stricktly vertical recoil with not a lot of kick a lot of other handcannons on consoles with controller don't have that, i think that is what makes Better Devils such a good handcannon for me.

Hey Coolguy, great video! Back in the day, I did extensive testing of mobility, moving target, elemental capacitor, etc. You're right in that they do indeed stack. Unfortunately, when you have multiple ADS penalty reducers, each one will have diminishing returns. The strongest effect will be prioritized at full strength, then the second strongest effect will be halved. The third effect, if you have one, could be halved or thirded, the effect was too small to tell. I tested this on Peacekeepers with a Shayura's Wrath with Elemental Capacitor / Moving Target. There's definitely some magic being able to strafe that fast, of course a sidearm (and Forerunner) will still outpace you. As a mobility freak myself, I love using Last Word and Dead Man's Tale, because if you never ADS, your strafe is the fastest!

Really wild to see Perpetualis considering the PvP section of that review. DMT w/ Moving Target and Punching Out w/ Moving Target + Elemental Capacitor feels perfectly fluid at all times. Always have high strafe speed with hipfire at range and close-mid gets covered well without sacrificing movement. Really love it

So I stumbled across this combo playing a ton of Mayhem two weeks ago. I got the god roll Something New (Elemental Cap + PI) which is juiced on Arc or Void, but I love chucking Silence and Squall in Mayhem so just rolled with it on Stasis. Was shocked at how good the extra strafe speed felt. Took the same setup into Trials too. Glad you brought attention to this! Nobody would believe me when I kept saying Stasis elemental cap felt great 😂

I have this perk combo on The Third Axiom as well as PSI Hermetic - I like to use both with 100 mobility and Mask of Bakris to make up for the lack of a damage perk. Bonus: whichever weapon slot you fill, you can use the other slot for your special weapon and still get benefit from Mask - just be sure to adjust your armor mods like Targeting and Unflinching to match your primary weapon

i have a moving target killing wind igneous with over 3k kills on it that i use specifically to break aim assist against controller players, just strafe in one direction with speed boots and watch them wiff its hilarious

El. Cap is one of my favourite perks in the game for pvp. Its great on anything but Solar imo. Strand is kinda mid but still solid for AE focus. I used a Shayuras roll with MT/El.Cap on Stasis Titan with PKs.... strafe speed was wild. Unfortunarely, you can't that combo anymore

Have a Rose with ele-cap+snapshot that I use exclusively with Revenant. The strafe speed is amazing, and the 100-recoil direction was a night and day difference as to why Rose had always felt 'off' to me on controller.

I've been hunting and collecting this roll for since pre-Final Shape. The introduction of Prismatic is even more of a boon. I have the Moving Target + E-Cap on Crisis Inverted, Shayura's Wrath, and now Better Devils. Shayura's is by far my most used one, as pairing it with a max mobility Behemoth with Peacekeepers was an obvious play. And while I haven't gotten around to doing the story on my Titan yet, with how good Prismatic Titan is right now, it'll be even better then. Haven't gotten around to using the Better Devils yet, but I did use my Crisis Inverted for a few games, and both of my rolls cap out at 62 range (Missed out on the range MW on Better Devils, and my Crisis has Smallbore instead of Hammer Forged or Full Bore). Felt pretty good, though if we could get the roll on a HC with good base stats, it'd really shine.

I got nearly the exact same roll of Better Devils a couple weeks ago and it's been my main hand cannon since. Smallbore, Range MW, Accurized, MT/Ele Cap. Though I have been using a void super for that +25 Stability bump. I'll have to try running stasis. Ngl though the Stability bump from Ele cap makes it hard to run something other than void. Plus the Nadir Origin trait is excellent. It's the best feeling hand cannon I've used on controller since moving from PC MnK a couple years ago. Also Enhanced Ele Cap is straight up GOATED now. Enhanced adds +5 to the stats and no longer locked into a subclass due to Prismatic.

Stasis ele cap BXR was my go to for PvP when 30th anniversary first dropped, Moving Target thrown in would've felt like a dream. Old roll had perpetual motion, so was just an all around QOL weapon.

Idk if you saw, but I commented something related to this trait combo on your Shayura’s Wrath video about a month ago. This trait combo used to exist on shayura’s wrath until the perk refresh, and with peace keepers (which improve mobility by 25 and decrease ADS strafe speed penalty by 33% while an SMG is readied, among other things), you could strafe almost as fast as a sidearm with this same combo (this is significant because sidearms intrinsically have a 15% ADS strafe speed penalty vs the intrinsic 25% strafe speed penalty of all other weapons, and who wants to use a sidearm?). Hopefully you saved a roll of the old shayura’s wrath with el cap + MT. If you did, you should give it a try, specifically with peace keepers. Add high mobility for a further strafe speed improvement, if you’re an edgy titan player (remember, you need not exceed 75 mobility with an smg and PKs).

I've always been a huge strafe speed stan, but my solution to that chase is collecting every enhanced hipfire grip weapon under the sun. That's probably a no go on controller, but on mnk it's my favorite way to play.

This is the roll I've been using all season...Mask of Bakris, Psi with EC and headseeker and Trespasser. Psi is great for dueling due to the strafe increase. Trespasser is great for pushing and then melting once Unrepentant procs (proccing the MoB buff and the unrepentant buff gives Trespasser a .33 ttk at all resil levels). Very fun PvP load out.

I have an occluded finality with snapshot ele cap and I’ve used it on stasis before and it honestly felt like it landed more headshots than my opening shot roll. That strafe speed is definitely tied to aim assist in some way.

Wanted this combination on Shayura's, never got it, up until Final Shape I farmed it with my Trials Engrams, never lucky. Now the combination isn't available anymore. When I saw that Better Devils could have this, I started farming, end of the season and still don't have one on what is probably my 10th rank reset. Yeah I used to run stasis with titan before they nerfed behomoth super into uselessness and elemental capacitor on igneous was great. I'e since deleted that roll though for vault space. If behemoth ever gets a rework I would probably try to find another good EC roll on that or another weapon.

I've been using Elemental Capacitor with a Stasis super on Hunter with Rose and Stompies. It honestly feels like I have peace keepers on but with a Hand Cannon! I've been using it for the past few weeks in trials and doing great with it. It makes it so easy for me to out duel other hand cannons as I strafe left to right super fast. I don't know if the lightweight buff from rose has anything to do with it but its great, add eye of the storm to it and you have a great hand cannon. You should try it out.

I’ve got a Something New with Elemental Capacitor and Precision Instrument. Absolutely nasty. Not only do you have the best perk for 120s in Enhanced Precision Instrument, but you also have the added bonus of the weapon being Stasis for discounted mods on your armor. The thing handles like a dream. I didn’t quite get the 5/5, as I have Accurized with Corkscrew and a Handling MW, but there are FAR worse things to have than that Corkscrew and Handling MW. Overall it feels absolutely incredible to use. I do have an old Rose with Rangefinder and Elemental I used to run on Strand for AE, perhaps I should give that a try on Stasis.
