Amen, I want out of this. I’m still under my parents’ internet service until I go off to college. I’m going to study worship arts because I know God is calling me to that, and I’ve been taking steps to go now before August but I need to ditch this. I can’t be both for God and living in sin. There is no being on the fence. I’ve struggled so much, sometimes going for weeks without it, but then it pokes its head out and I go back to it. At college, I’m not saying I’ll be totally free when I get there, but I’ll be surrounded by Christians growing in their faith and I’m sure that’ll help. I’ll have 3 other people in my dorm keeping me accountable. I’m worried I’m not saved because I know I’ve been living this way.

I’m not here to get what I want in life but to serve Jesus alone. one underrated thing about people who are addicted to whatever that it is they’re addicted to is that a trigger isn’t needed to actually WANT it in the moment.. I remember when I watched porn, when I had my “sessions” It’d be because of my mind moreso than what I see.. porn addicts don’t need a visual trigger, just a thought and you’re on your way to faptown
