To help explain what happened at the end of the first game - If it has no production buildings left The TibSun AI will sell off all of it's remaining structures and send every unit it has left on a suicide run towards your base. It was designed so that you would not waste time looking a silo or a stealthed guard tower.

Something that would be great to bring attention to an old RTS, which was my first RTS. Star Wars Force Commander. It's overshadowed by Empire at War, but it still holds a special place in my heart. I don't even think you can play it on Windows 10.

well, there are/were projects to reverse engineer the whole TS/RA2 engine, and there are multiple projects to extend the modding capabilities of the engine (one/two for TS; at least three for RA2). So maybe someday there will be something that adds the much needed QoL features to TS.

I've been to vietnam and been in those tunnel complexes, it is remarkable how they managed to stay in those tiny spaces and (maybe, probably, mostly) not go insane from just claustrophobia, not counting the absolute hell that was raining down from above. I would love to see a remaster of this but maybe it's asking too much for it to be actually good these days.

@rimmy downunder, you should try the arma commander mod on some arma 3 sog prarie fire maps. adds spawning troops based on points. can take over the squad leader, or order them around the map. bases taken give the player more points every few minutes or so
