When i first got a grill, i subscribed solely because of the name of your channel. I have to say now though, I've learned an insane amount from you, and there's something very comforting/relaxing about your videos

I am sitting here dying, What a steak ! The little well done edge doesn't matter. You make such good videos explaining your methods and process so well. Happy Father's Day, too. I hope your boys are learning how to cook like you do.

I’ve been watching your videos for a couple weeks, and gotta say I really like your style, explanations, and attitude. I like those little pauses you put in the video. Not a big fan of the black and white drawing effect, but definitely not a deal breaker. And that steak looked amazing!

Hello Alveus. I do that so the viewer knows that a new section of the video is starting. I was just using a white pane with text on the pane. Do you have a suggestion for another way of doing that?

Bruh... This one was another BANGER! So Good it doesn't matter that the edge was a little well done the rest of the steak more than made up for it. Fantastic video and showing that they don't all always go as planned.

@@ViewtoagrillI put them on cool side of grill for 10 minutes then checked internal temp. It was 88 and 92. I seared all sides, put on cool side of grill and measued them at 111 and 114 degrees. Put lid on for 10 minutes. I pulled them at 123 and 127 degrees, loosely covered with foil. Ten minutes later, they were 134 and 138 and tasted great.

One of the things i love about the Webber kettle is that you can " tame the flame " by simply putting the lid back down. Of course during the sear it's a good idea to reduce the vents some to rob the excess oxygen about 30 seconds or so to get the flames down then lift the lid again. I love my webber kettles. Great roast, ahh, I mean steak.😂🤣😅😋 Johnny have a great day and i hope you enjoyed a great beverage with all that meat. 🍖🍻🍴

Interesting cook, that thing was a monster. I see you like your Killa Grilla grill grate. I use mine almost exclusively. I was sad to see the other day the owner was retiring and I wasn’t able to get a stainless charcoal grate for my kettle. I had it bookmarked for months but never got to ordering. I took a little too long. 😢 I have the same one you do and the upper and lower grates for my WSM 14.
@Viewtoagrill
@Viewtoagrill Жыл бұрын
Oh wow. I did not know he was retiring. Love the grates. I saw on the Weber website that they now sell stainless and SnS makes one like killa grilla… but not as thick.
@txfieros
@txfieros Жыл бұрын
@@Viewtoagrill yes the SNS one is thinner than the stock Weber with the center section. Seeing it used it seems flimsy when you put a heavy piece of meat in it. Not that it would cook different, but the Killa Grillas are definitely lifetime pieces. Didn’t know about a stainless Weber version.
