JUst watched them beat the Celtics. Best defense I ever saw them play. Ever! Would like to see Waters minutes split between Kuminga and Moody. Waters got 14 minutes. His hot streak looks to be over.

Yeah, that's why Cleveland whooped our asses like we were a high-school team... I'm rooting for my favorite team, GSW, but I'm not sure about being too enthusiastic at this stage... Yes, there's evident progress in comparison to what was last year. But we're not there yet.

Last year 6 games into the season GSW were 5-1 with the 3rd ranked defense with a 101.3 defensive rating....Their schedule was substantially harder.

I think they got to 6-2, and then fell apart. Draymond was a big part of that. After he calmed down, they had an excellent 2nd half. This year, hopefully, he will control himself better. Also, they now have Anderson to fill his roll, when necessary. Klay was also a big drag during that losing stretch. He improved after he was benched, later in the season, only to come up totally empty in the play-in game. He also was key in their previous elimination against the Lakers, the year before. He was great, but they are better off without him now. His time had come and gone with GS.

That's not even true. lol. I just looked this up, at 5 and 1 last year, they were ranked 10th with a 109.3 defensive rating.
