Yeah, the Final Fight characters got smooshed into Street Fighter so much (also Poison, Birdie, even one of those nightmarish giant guys) that by now it’s REAL hard to know the different origins if you got into it later. Almost everyone except Haggar by now, it seems. Which is a shame we all want him but I think even Capcom winks at this and acknowledges that he’d basically be Zangief. The Red Cyclone even had Haggar clothes as a custom outfit in a game…

so this game WAS in fact a fan game that capcom said sure go ahead and finish so we can say we did something for both anniversarys and take credit for even tho the fans knew at the time they were lying through there teeth, also the password system came out in post patch so originally it was a 1 run game which that version was even harder to sometimes do, another thing is some of the levels are very unfair in difficulity spikes if you follow the weakness order which chun le was crimson viper if im remembering correctly

Yeeeah, you can feel the jank in this game even on video. Weird gravity, problems with invincibility frames, funky hitboxes. I'd say "it's a fangame and it shows" but then I remember stuff like Mega Man Rock n Roll or Perfect Blue.
