There's a big difference between it being technically right with where the chapters ended vs the anime ending at the same spot. For the manhwa a lot of chapters will be released all at once in the beginning and you read them pretty quickly. For anime, you're watching it for 20 minutes and now you have to wait another week when those chapters would already be out for the manhwa. First two episodes should have 100 percent been released together.

9/10 I felt like it did the manhwa justice. It looked just like what it did reading it. I felt like it needed 2 episodes this week. It was great. Music great. Everything is explained smoothly like spreading butter on toast. Not really if none at all with plot holes like other fantasy worlds. I am expecting it to be with JJK as a top 3 fighting scene nomination next year at this pace.

Side note, not sure where all the A-1 pictures hate came from but i think I much rather prefer this over a studio like mappa or ufortable. nothing against them but they already have a lot on their plate. A-1 also does Mashle and have done other solid works in the past like, SAO, SDS, and FT. Waited a long time for this as someone who read the Manwha. Glad Luke enjoyed it as much as I did. I've checked out a few reactions now, and I'm glad to say that it seems like most people avoided what I call the "pathetic" version of the anime. The version that seemingly airs in japan, where they changed names of people and locations to japanese ones, and made the story revolve around japan.

⁠@@hakumayano1014Its better that A-1 adapts from the light novels anyways considering a lot of things were more fleshed out. The manhwa of SL adapted from the Light Novels to begin with, and has a good amount of cuts. Anime is actually looking to be more faithful than the manhwa in terms of adapting the original source.
