Jesse has been dreaming about visiting Switzerland for most of his adult life. So these 3 days were quite literally a DREAM 😊 We watched some vlogs on Switzerland, looked up some antique shops and a few attractions we wanted to visit but for the most part, we wanted to just walk around and explore without an agenda! We love to mix up our trip with some parts really well planned and some days more open to just see what's in store of us 🥰 We hope you enjoy hanging out with us while we wander through the historic old streets of Zurich and the capital of Switzerland, Bern! These truly were some of our favorite days on this entire adventure in Europe. As Oregonians and nature lovers, it's HARD to top the PNW sometimes... but oh boy Switzerland... the beauty is unreal!

Watching older ones while getting organized 😃 and you were saying you wanted a blueprint of your house. My friend sold her historical home in Corvallis to the granddaughter of the man who had built it. She had stopped at the home about 8 years ago and told my friend she had gotten blueprints from the city. Try a few calls to the city or county.

So happy you got to visit Switzerland. Your video brings back a lot of memories. I was an exchange student in Bern when I was a high school junior (circa 1988). My host family lived on Jungfraustrasse very close to the river. They lived in the the top 2 floors of a building very similar to the houses with the gardens you were commenting on (not overlooking the river, though), and the back yard was full of currant bushes and apricots and other edibles. I remember the first time I swam the Aare - the river was 13 C (55 - 56 F) and I am pretty sure my heart stopped for a few seconds. Would that I could spend another year there.

Thanks for sharing your European trip on video! I'm disabled (hopefully temporarily!) so unable to get out much, much less travel currently. I've done some European travel in the past and am really missing it, so these videos have really been fun for me. (Plus, I've learned a lot about pottery in your thrifting videos. We loved Switzerland too. I remember the clear, icy green water, the fresh air and the quaint shutters with cut-outs on the country homes. We came home and my hubby made shutters for our home like theirs. Thank you for the treat of seeing your trip.

I will go by train from Amsterdam to Naples, stopping in Frankfurt, Zurich, Tirano, Venice, Rome and finally Naples. In some cities I will also visit others around them.
