If you look back when Mob is trying to contain the explosion, you can actually see his chest pocket glowing green as the broccoli seeds are absorbing the excess energy 😆 Reigen actually saved the day once again, inadvertently, by giving Mob those seeds at the beginning of season 2

24:54 It's not that she did not take Sho with her though. I think it's obvious what would the father feel and react when she did that, knowing his violent tendencies. I think they just did a cool off, and they were probably not divorced too. Just not seeing each other. You could say Sho has two homes: mom's place, dad's place. And Sho has powers so he probably stick for that, only to feel displeased at his father's goal of being a tyrant. Sho is like their only remaining connection to each other after all (mom and dad) unbeknownst to the father.

Dont worry, when Season 2 ended i also was in the delusion that the story is completed but once you get into Season 3 you notice that there's alot left to cover to actually make an end to everything and it's going to be the most emotional season ever! PUMPED.

If you pay attention Mob was expressing how he needed to express his feelings to Tsubomi right before the explosion. All those feelings/esper powers came from the heart and that blossomed the broccoli seeds right next to it. You could actually see this in the first Mob Psycho opening. Also the scars no longer have their scars because of one of Sho’s (the Boss’ son) subordinates. It’s cool because those scars were marks of defects and inferiority from the boss himself and the fact that they moved on from such shows that they are ready to reintegrate into society as Reigen told them to last season. So the fact that their scars removal came up as a casual point in their conversation of their future plans is pretty cool and fitting.

I told you our boy was growing up. He's even teaching "adults" lessons. Theoretically, Mob may have channeled the big boss's explosion into the energy that healed the Scars and created the giant broccoli. Somehow also keeping the boss intact so he could try to make up with his family. He told the mother that Sho had become interested in his powers so maybe she felt it was too late to change her son's mind, or he might have stayed purposefully to try and stop his dad since he stayed in contact with his mother.

Let me explain about broccoli. 🥦Shou's father was unable to control his power, which was too great, and was about to explode, so Mob tried to save him by absorbing some of that power, right? Originally, that power was too much for Mob to handle. But in the end, it was the broccoli seed that Mob had that saved them. In other words, he had the broccoli seed absorb some of the power. And in the end, an incredibly huge broccoli grew. Lol🥦🥦

Can't wait for you to revisit the openings after Season 3, and realize they foreshadowed so much without the non-manga readers realizing it. As an amateur writer, I kinda felt like the story had yet to properly finish after this, but you never know when they just don't continue an anime while the manga does. Interesting thing is, throughout the boss fight, Mob goes through several emotional explosions. I believe the text description was cut to maintain the flow of the fight, but according to the original webcomic, there's: 100% Ecstasy: Mob may have gotten it from absorbing Toichirou's energy attack, which would've influenced his emotions and then got amplified in the explosion. Regardless, Mob feels a rush during the fight; able to cut loose against someone who can take it (and Toichirou was ecstatic for the same reason). 100% Guilt: when Mob feels guilty for going temporarily crazy with his powers when he sees Ristu and remembers that his brother feared that possibility. 100% Compassion (or 100% Sadness, I'm not sure): Mob emphasizes with Toichirou on how isolating it is to have power but no proper connections in turn (even if Toichirou doesn't admit it). 100% Resignation: where Mob gives up on his personal efforts to stop the fight and just tries to straight up kill Toichirou. 100% Courage: the shonen-looking Mob when he regains the will to continue fighting to protect the friends and family he holds dear. And finally, 100% Kindness, where Mob decides to, between the choice to end Toichirou or let everyone perish in the explosion, take a 3rd option to sacrifice himself to stop the explosion while offering unconditional kindness to Toichirou (simply because Mob can; this is how he chooses to take control of his own life), but then he takes a 4th option and tries to absorb Toichirou's excess power to stop the explosion (which is only successful thanks to Mob inadvertently transferring most of that power into the broccoli seeds through his chlorokinesis).
