Eddie Money is a great musician but somehow is overlooked, underrated and passed-over. But most people can sing word for word his songs not even knowing who he is... Check out. Take Me Home Tonight, Walk On Water, Think I'm In Love, Two Tickets To Paradise, Baby Hold On. And so many more.

I live about an hour north of LA and as you can imagine we have a lot of musicians who live locally. About 4 years ago my girl and I went to see REO Speedwagon at a local venue and they had some guest appearances. One of the guests was Eddie Money. Unfortunately he looked to be in VERY poor health. I think he passed away a few months later. Still sounded good but he could barely walk or stand. It was sad to see but at least he was still out there working.

EDDIE MONEY: "Life For The Taking" "Maybe I'm A Fool" "Trinidad" "No Control" "I Think I'm In Love" "Can't Keep A Good Man Down" "Gambling Man" "Rock And Roll The Place" "Save A Little Room In Your Heart For Me" "Wanna Be A Rock & Roll Star" "Gimme Some Water" "Let's Be Lovers Again" "Where's The Party?" "The Big Crash" "Club Michelle" "Boardwalk Baby" "Walk On Water" "I'll Get By" "Fall In Love Again" "Fire And Water" "Peace In Our Time" "Looking Through The Eyes Of A Child" "Heaven In The Backseat" "Endless Nights" "Another Nice Day In LA" "I Wanna Go Back" "She Takes My Breath Away" "Love The Way You Love Me" That's just off the top of my head. I'm a huge fan!

I tend to like his 70s stuff, but this one might be my favorite Money song. Love it. His early stuff was a mix of rock and roll with some R&B, soul, blues and funk elements. "Got to Get Another Girl" is a pretty good example of rock, blues and funk elements combined in one song, while "Nobody" is an example of a more R&B infused number. A couple more popular older ones are "Baby Hold On" and one of my old faves, "Gimme Some Water."
