GOD BLESS LEK CHAILERT AND DARRICK AND ALL THE BEAUTIFUL ELEPHANTS AT ENP. MAY THEY ACQUIRE MORE LAND AS A SAFE HOME FOR MANY MORE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL SENTIENT FRIENDS WE CALL ELEPHANTS WHO CAN TEACH US SO MUCH ON HOW TO BEHAVE SOCIALLY. THEY ARE SO VERY SENTIENT AND HIGHLY CIVILIZED IN A WAY WE BARELY UNDERSTAND.

Nice video. I was at ENP in April , volunteered. Long time supporter. It looks like you guys did a day trip. It is paradise for sure. Pyi Mai and Chaba we call "Double Trouble", they were playing with the ball until I think Bunma stole it lol. And everyone loves Medo and Kabu❤... I would reiterate that most of these elephants and animals had to be rescued from their horrific situations. They are trauma survivors. Before ENP their lives were a living hell. Basically slaves. We have to raise money to save them, they're not just surrendered. I wish it was that easy. Thanks for highlighting ENP💚

Very cool to see a hands off elephant santuary! I've been in two minds about whether I wanted to go to an elephant sanctuary in Thailand (would love to see them in the wild if I can 🤞) but watching this I would definitely like to support a project like this where the elephants are just able to do their own thing rather than catering to the desires of tourists. Great to see them having a happy retirement! Looks like the work the santuary is doing with cats and dogs is really good too, and I would definitely be very happy to get to cuddle lots of purring cats when I'm missing my own on my travels

What an amazing experience that must have been. Glad to hear the elephants are now properly cared for and looked after. Elephants are one of my favourite animals, so family orientated. Charlotte, you definitely looked in your element in the cat kingdom! Thanks guys ❤

A perfect place to spend a day with the animals! Elephants are such beautiful and majestic creatures! It’s always a concern to find a place that is truly an ethical sanctuary, but it looks like you guys found the best one. The cat’s area, boy would I be in heaven! ❤

i never seen elephants or any animals other than my dogs birds cats, i dont pay zoos or circus or especially RIDE elephants how absolutely tragic that would be not even in my nightmares id do that, so maybe someday ill have enough money to see them in thier natural home or in a wonderful place like this thank you guys for telling us how its done i cant help cry seeing the ones who are injured poor babies poor poor babies humans are beyond evil and terrifying if people stop paying for this tragedies like i do then these cruel places would not exist so thats where we start, by NOT endorsing animal cruelty dont bring your children and pay for this i went with my mother to a circus and i got sick and cried bc i felt the animals went right they werent feeling right as a child I could sense that so i asked my mom to go and the same with the zoo i didnt want to go on inside teach your children what humans REALLY do to them educate yourself read about torture devices and all its done to them to BABIES they sart abusing them from babies, take them away from their mothers and many die from lack of nutrition elephant milk humans cant really make enough exactly so many die from lack of nutrients to fight off disease many die when teething starts when they get more sick without mothers milk many many many die how can you NOT stop this????

Hi Christina, sounds like you would enjoy Charlotte's other channel "Vegan Explores" - a lot of the reasons are for the animals www.youtube.com/@veganexplores I think we should all do our best to support companies and organisations that go out of their way to take care of animals and their environments 🙏🏼

Hello. Im currently planning a visit to the ENP with my 72 yo mom but i cant decide yet which one to get--this whole day tour with Skywalk or the half day tour. Hoping you could help. Minus the travel time from and to downtown Chiang Mai, how many hours do you have in the park? Didnt it get boring at one point? Or just enough time for the set activities? Did you ride or just walk going to the Skywalk? My mom uses a cane to help her for uphill areas and I wonder if the walk would be manageable. Did you have many free time on your own or you were with the guide and tour group the entire time? Sorry for the many questions and thanks in advance for any addtl info you can share.Will appreciate it. 🙂
@cjexplores7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the questions, not a problem at all! The drive from Chiang Mai is around 1 hour, a little more when you are picking up extra tourists. But minus that we spent over 5 and a half hours there. It didn’t get boring for us at all. We loved meeting all the different elephants. The first part of the tour is a big walk around the park, followed by a lovely lunch. You have a little bit of free time around lunch if you eat quickly. And then you go to the bus to get a lift up the road to the next part of the tour with the skywalk. The skywalk is a different experience all together as you are above the elephants rather than walking with them. But the entire time you are learning about the history of the individual elephants and the development of the park in general. After that you get to go to Cat Kingdom which was amazing and then you get some free time to browse around the m main buildings of the Elephant Nature Park where they have a gift shop and you can go to several viewing platforms to see the elephants before boarding the bus for the return journey. If your mum is fit and capable of walking for extended periods then I would recommend the long tour, otherwise I would email ENP and see if they have mobility assistance options 😊 I hope this info helps!
