I like longer videos, I like shorter videos. They are ALL fantastic. I love the narration and content you put into the mission. I like hearing what you and why you are doing it. The views, of course, are breathtaking. I must say that the thing I enjoy most is the comments and explanations you give as the mission continues. Time's., speed, changes, why, altitudes, obstructions, options, I love it all. I can make the flight from YOUR narration. Thank you for super content. There is NO other flying channel that provides all you do. Thanks again.

I believe the plane's software can calculate the windspeed by calculating difference between your TAS (using the pitot and static port) and ground speed (using GPS in your case but you can also do this with the inertia systems in airliners).

Ryan, Nice short flight Aibai to Goroka, nice to see Elimbari. We used it as a navaid on our flights from Hagen to Goroka (VFR flights in those days ). I think Aibai was called Yobai in those days, anyway thanks for the ride, stay safe.

Nice to see Roland's face. He has such a smooth and relaxing voice. I mainly listen to your video's to help me relax and fall asleep. I watch them every day, and watched many of them several times. Don't get me wrong, I really find your vlogs very interesting. Hearing people talk English just has a calming effect to me. The sound of the radio communications and the plane make it even more relaxing. Since I stumbled on your channel there hasn't been a day I didn't watch at least one video. So if you're wondering why you have daily hits from Belgium in your KZbin stats, I might have a part in that 😃 Anyway keep up the good work, and keep the video's coming.

If you’re wondering how the G1000s works out your wind direction info, it takes data from the pitot/static system, accelerometers, gyroscopes, and GPS, then it can work out the difference between your TAS and GS to give your your head/tail wind component, and using the accelerometers and gyroscopes determine your crabbing angle, which when algebra’d with TAS gives your your crosswind. It’s the same maths you’d do manually with a wizz-wheel and compass, but way more accurate, quicker, and constant

Excellent aerial shots particularly the take-off, the tail-mounted camera is working really well. A little disappointed that there wasn't any ramped-up video from the wing camera in this one, this always looks like a giant kid has picked up the plane by its wingtip and is running around with it, which is cool. Another ace video and btw I enjoyed the last one too, the destructive pigs were interesting..
