Love Gatlinburg bears included but yes they can be dangerous! He looked like he wanted out of there and jumped that concrete fence! I loved to watch them in the mountain streams from the car! Thanks Billy for taking us to Gatlinburg and getting a glimpse of that bear!👍

That was a young Bear, although still very (potentially) dangerous. Gatlinburg is very beautiful. Back in the 80s and early 90s, i delivered freight up there every day (except on weekends). Thanks for sharing this, Billy. God Bless you and yours.

Awesome stuff there! Reminds me of when we used to go camping (a thousand moons ago) around that same area. People would be feeding adult bears through the driver's side window on the side of the road. This would've been late 70s/early 80s. Somewhere my dad has some slides (remember those? LOL) of folk doing that. That little one looked scared...probably knew it shouldn't have wandered into human territory and just wanted to scoot on home before Momma and Poppa bear found out he had gone a'wanderin. great stuff, Billy. Hi Spa Guy, I'm really pleased that you managed to film this because its not everyday you'll see a black bear that close. I'm also amazed that security didn't shoot the bear it looked like it just wanted to getaway from everyone it wasn't threatened so it would not attack. Take Care.
