What do you do when your former employer's sign goes up for auction? You buy it, put a computer in it, forget about it for 9 months, put a different computer in it, cover it in lights, put it in your office, and then use it as your daily driver machine, obviously. It's been far too long since the original plan for this NCIX Gaming PC was put into motion, and finally we have the riveting conclusion to this 2-part saga.

Not sure if anyone from LTT is gonna see this, but Inno3D has a 4090 with a tiny PCB that Alphacool has an end-ported enterprise water block for. Might be a suitable upgrade to that 3070.

@xaytana
@xaytana 4 ай бұрын
Inno3D sells the combo as the Ichill Frostbite Pro, no point in buying the Ichill x3 and a separate block. Inno3D's PCB is a reference alternative anyways, minor layout rearrangement that removes the V cutout, any reference cooler that doesn't utilize the V works with it, hence why αcool's reference cooler works with it.

All that really means is you recognize the fact that you are a human and you do make mistakes from time to time, anyone who doesn't get that kind of a feeling when any project is successful (be it a PC build, or fixing up an old car) is very overconfident and they will learn their lesson someday and probably a couple friends along the way

I myself did a project where my whole pc was exactly 7cm thick. I used 3 fans in the build. One large fan over the entire GPU on a gelid icy vision cooler with fans removed, and one 140mm clc for cpu. Very important aspect is to draw cool air at the bottom and output hot air at the top. That really makes the whole difference. Even if both intake and output is on the same side. My project was very constrained but never throttled.

Man, I legitimately can not wait for those magnet clips. I have an all steel ULINE desk in my podcast room and I have bought MANY magnets and supposed clips that are all different variants of terrible. Issue is, the silicone covered ones kill too much of the Gauss, what did work though, NAME TAG BADGES, those were pretty alright. Since they use properly strong magnets, maybe not N95s but better than the weak ones that "cable wrap" magnets use. I will literally buy 100 each in every size offerred when they come out. I already have somewhere between 1,000 to 2,000 magnets as is. And that's a very conservative estimate.
