This week has been so random: Sophie S.O.S and professional film unit

Brilliant, well done Sophie! What a lovely camper you have there, a lovely little cottage on wheels and great adventures to come. Your tyre pressures were probably a bit low too making Sophie feel sluggish. The tyre pressures are usually printed on the inside of the drivers door( maybe "telling my grandmother how to suck eggs", as the saying goes!) , but keeping those correct can save money on tyre wear and give you better steering, ride and control, just a thought🤨 Yes, yes, yes, I know that excitement still felt of seeing the little cards fixed on posts for crew and performers! Years back I would too be looking out for at 6 am starts at some deep hidden location, I loved being part of the whole thing, do miss it but have great memories. I use to take a little camera(no phones cameras then, a brick phone that made ones ear feel hot!) and took some sneaky photos which was very naughty as secrecy was upmost with the big films. Enjoy seeing what you are up to, keep well, keep safe x

Anyone getting WW2 withdrawals, as everyone seems to have quit, same time, there are some. lovely US interviews, beautifully done, by Raymond McFallon, I think his name is, on yt. He was the equivalent of a barrister and learnt how to encourage people to talk. Very quiet, beautiful stories, although mainly American. Some elderly men are extraodinary. Sharp, intelligent and so fit and young in movement. One is throwing himself around a bomber at a flying museum!

Another unexpected adventure That spare wheel looked AWFUL! I can see why your trusted mechanic sounded dubious. If Sophie were mine, it would have been bad news all round, so glad you don't have my record of bad luck! How long have you had Sophie? Surely that tap would be covered by dealer/seller? Didn't have any ancient cars at the film lot? So it won't be a P G Wodehouse. So not going to be over excited. Is it that Bridgerton I have heard mutterings of? Seen nothing of it. Know nothing of it. I don't know what series are on tv. Haven't had one in at least 5 years. Maybe 10! For winter, maybe you can cook a big casserole up at your mum's and just reheat in van? Otherwise you might get too much condensation, doing a slow cook I have one of those little round glass ovens - but I think, like irons, they draw a lot of electricity, for the short time they are on. Do lovely roast potatoes, though. Or can you cook at shop?
