The key to hatchet/axe throwing is find a good throwing technique that works for you, then located the right distance, then repeat. Always be consistent with the way you throw and it's easy. I learned to throw at the age of 13 from one of the best rendezvous throwers in Texas at the time.

The handstand pushup is a fairly impressive feat of strength, I doubt he can do it but after achieving handstand pushups on a wall, then off a wall, he can then transition to handstands.

What you should do to gauge how far you should stand is by seeing how many rotations happen in a certain amount of paces, say it takes 10 paces to make a full rotation, so stand 10 paces away, or 20, 30, 40... it’s much easy to gauge distance
