Brilliant that you’re here again for another week
I’m in the Vendee whilst I’m filming, I had visions of photos and videos in beautiful countryside, churches, beaches, but alas the weather had other ideas!
None the less I feature:

I went to tissus de renard and bought two lovely fabrics in my holidays in june. We stayed near Les Sables d‘Olonne and spent a lot of time on the beautiful beach. Le Puy de Fou was recommended by our host but as we do not like huge crowds we preferred a visit to Nantes to look at les machines de l‘île which were very impressive, totally worth a visit during your next holidays.

Hi Cara - lovely video again ❤ you always look so good in your makes! Hope you’re recovering well and that you’re looking forward to wearing your autumn wardrobe again soon! Some say there’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes 😂. I always enjoy seeing what I have at the back of the wardrobe for the next season and the summer will return next year! That fleecy fabric will make a gorgeous jacket or long cardigan. Thanks for sharing 😊 xxx

Love your makes! I purchased the tempete? blouse pattern. My daughter sealed the deal when she sent me a pic of a RTW blouse that was similar (but not as cute) for $350.00! Love the knit Sherpa fabric. I’ve seen some v cute boxy jackets with unfinished exposed seams. Lastly the French Disneyland reminded me of Freddy and Fredericka. Really made me laugh! Sending +++++ thoughts your way!

I enjoyed the video Cara. My brother lives in La Tranche sur Mer in the Vendee and I spent a week with him and his family in July. The weather was a bit up and down then but no rain luckily. He took me to the Puy Du Fou. It was fantastic to watch everything there. A very long day!

Hi Cara! I hope your surgery went as hoped and you're on the road to a great recovery. I'm not sure exactly when you were in France, but this last week I was on Lake Garda in Italy. And the week prior I was in Germany. I've had the same weather issues, with intermittent sun. It's been much colder than I anticipated so I haven't gotten to wear many of my me-made dresses or skirts either. Your pant/top combinations just look lovey on you. Very stylish but relaxed. I'm looking forward to sewing again soon and ordering some of the new collection of Maison Fauve patterns. But first I have to visit some fabric stores in Germany (this time I'm with my other sister) Oh, speaking of mosquitoes - oh my gosh Italy has some weird ones which left strange reactions. And they loved my skin or blood as well! I've never had bites on my face! I can do without thank you very much! Italy can keep them! 🤣

Hi Cara - Look at Bella Loves Patterns who has a lovely jacket which needs double sided fabrics which would suit your fabric. Made a couple of her patterns and you will definitely learn some new techniques if you try it. Everything she has looks so professional.
