Bro , can't get enough of your posts with quo, definitely my 1st port of call on you tube, , love your energy when you play quo, keep on rocking bro
They never played this beauty live until the reunion tours in 2013 and 2014 - I was lucky enough to see them on both tours and what a treat it was to hear this 🤘🤘🤘

@johnwatson5249 saw them on both tours like you, but in Wolverhampton - I think maybe they were better when i first saw them in '81,but they were up there for sure, and the atmosphere was off the chart - so grateful to have seen those four on stage together again 🤘

Imagine growing up in the US and never hearing the Quo. Now imagine growing up in the UK in the 70s waiting for every album full of Quo monsters to land. It's one of the positives of being old and British 🤣🤣

One of the finest rock guitar solos out there! Great though the studio version is, seeing the Frantic Four line-up of the band playing this song during the 2013 and 2014 reunions was a real highlight. The live version avoids the fade and you see the Quo at their very tightest and mightiest. A wonder to behold 😊

Such a great song. Seeing the Frantic Four playing it a few years ago was just wonderful. The other thing to remember, back in the day that guitar solo fading out was the end of side 1 of the LP. It's just a perfectly constructed album from start to finish.

Quo have just finished their last tour in the UK and Europe and the crowds were massive, not bad after 60 years of touring :)
@al49044 ай бұрын
And their last song played live was Burning Bridges. 🤮 Talk about going our with a fizzle instead of a bang! Rossi milked every last drop from the 70's and early 80's Quo cash cow. His highly successful career would not have existed without the chemistry that went into the frantic four albums. 😊
@rodricselbie354 ай бұрын
@@al4904 I agree regarding the Frantic 4 but today they are playing to a different crowd and part of the success was achieving that, just look at this guy doing Quo reactions his favourite song is Rocking all over the World, no FF fan would pick that song :)

When the original Quo got back together in 2023/14 I was at the final gig in Dublin. That live gig is available on Spotify. Not only did Quo do Blue Eyed Lady but also Oh Baby from the Piledriver album. Check out the so underrated Oh Baby on volume 10! Incredible!

Its great to see your reactions to these cuts that could have been singles. They really slip in below the radar, im looking forward to your take on Claudie. Youll love it but youll say i didnt think it was going to be like that!!!!! A slight spoiler here think of Quo with a touch of country in the mix. I know you like the solos youll not be disappointed!!!

Hammersmith Odeon. 2013. The Frantic Four Reunion Tour. Parfitt utterly, utterly smashing the living hell out of his guitar. Rossi just looking like he was enjoying himself, absolutely. Coghlan showing the true, honest, excellent Drummer that he is. Lancaster grinning like a Cheshire Cat all the way through. Honestly? After the '84 Bowl Gig (My first gig), this FF Tour was frickin' amazing and quite emotional...First time I was thinking "I'm never going to see this Band live again" and the FF Gig WAS the last time I saw this amazing Band!!! I am just so proud to be able to say that I have seen the Mighty Quo in their most revered line up.

This is the wind-up to the first side of this album, after, 'Reason For Living.' And what a fantastic wind up it is! The only issue I have with this song is that it fades out way too soon! If you listen close enough, you may hear a saxophone in the mix. You've only got another 2, (or 3, if you count the bonus b-side song), to go on this album. They're definitely worth doing, though. Suggestions:- Railroad Little Lady/Most Of The Time Backwater/Just Take Me Junior's Wailing Someone's Learning

Always felt this track faded out too early, but a stonking track never the less. Hello is a great album, but only 8 months later they released , in my opinion anyway , their best ever studio album “ Quo” - the last two tracks of which ( Lonely Man and Slow Train ) simply showcase a band that could do no wrong at that time.
