So true about the older players improving turn, I'm in my mid 50's, and setting the pelvis allows me to turn fuller, while staying completely connected. The only thought from there is to swing so my belt buckle faces the target. Set it, turn back, turn through, watch the ball go right where you are aimed.

Just the best instructional golf videos on KZbin. I know it sounds so simple, but any drills to work on keeping knee flex in the trail leg during the backswing and to load into the back heel rather than starting the weight there?

Of course we have you covered!! Try this video with Mason Greene Back to the BASICS || Set up DRILLS kzbin.info/www/bejne/oITOd597etdka7c
And there's the light bulb moment for the hip. Not only does it allow you turn to move around without having to feel the tension in the upper body, but it looks like it actually sets you for a proper impact position. I love that you pointed out that he was crushing those and they looked dead straight. Time for you to sell a "5-minutes to a better swing" honestly the 45/45, hip bump, and include on section on how to get the right hand to quit messing up your swing, you got something there!

Great information, I have found this to keep my hips from swaying as if my hips are stuck in a barrel and I can only rotate is the best for my swing. I have not really heard anyone explain this as you are.

Still struggle with keeping my arms out of the swing, connected and club head in front of the chest. I cannot lose the HIT mentality and it is keeping from breaking into the 60's. Have a new swing over the ball every time. I have a fear of hurting my back which causes me to use my arms more. WHYY!!?!?!?! Great vid as always Adam. Bro was scorching those pills.

Swinging 'between the feet' clicked with me. I'm going to work on this next session. Suffer from too much hand action and now realize I'm getting hip beyond left foot. Your thoughts?

Hi Adam I just love the way you explain things. I’ve just arrived back after two years of stack and tilt where I learnt a lot and i do see similar manoeuvres. I guess I’ll have to save up to come and see you unless your in England anytime soon. Thanks again.

Hi Adam. Still enjoying your helpful videos and comments. Though I do think Mat Fitzpatrick would disagree with not swinging back faster. I know I'm being " smart," but golf is definitely the type of sport where someone is always able to contradict the norm. Gordon ( Scotland )

Hi, always a pleasure to watch! One question about the ‘rip it’ swings: you hear a lot of the longer hitters talking about swinging it back faster to create more speed on the downsing (eg Bryson Dec.). Do you not agree with this or does it just do more harm than good?

Hey Adam, do you have any tips on pull shots? i feel like i have to be real smooth in order to hit it somewhat on line but as soon as im a little quick all i hit are pull draws and cannot start the ball on my desired line
@gregwilliams20662 жыл бұрын
What are typical results of not getting turned behind the ball? I'm still troubled with pulls especially with driver. Thinking my turn behind lacking and then shoulders turning g everything left on downswing
@davidkramer1942 жыл бұрын
I am not sure how many people need to see your 45/45. I went to the range and said I can fix your swing but it's going to feel weird but trust me. He could never hit the driver straight to save his life. I showed him the 45/45 thing on your video, and he was bombing them right down the fairway. People give him a hard time at the tee because he still looks a little robotic but then when he wallop the ball they are asking him to show him that little strange spell he was casting with his golf wand. Tis a thing o' beauty!

@@countfloyd1269 except for you can't get more than 90 degrees out of 90 degrees lol. However I could see how someone else would label that.
@davidkramer1942 жыл бұрын
@@gregwilliams2066 yes it is. It's labeled perfect Backswing or perfect take away. That mixed with the actual right way to grip a club and you will be hitting 45% better immediately. I like that 45/45/45 = 45 degree wrist 45 degree turn = 45 % better
@davidkramer1942 жыл бұрын
@@gregwilliams2066 I'm sure some God awful viewer will watch it and call me dumb because it didn't work. I don't think this guy is for noobs who sway all over the place and can't keep their body from moving everywhere, but the very reason for it is to stop people from getting their body moved off plane by twisting with the shoulders. It gets you to load up the base and not the top. This partnered with the understanding that the right hand is what destroys everyone's swing, chip, and drive, particularly the right thumb. It kept pushing my club into the ground for years until I moved him so far out of the way that he can't mess them up anymore.

Rotate and cover without sliding. That is why you hip bump. Jedi knowledge there.
@davesisson75742 жыл бұрын
Is the hip bump lateral directly to the right (for lefties) or left (for righties) or does your hip bump go back too?
@PorzakGolf2 жыл бұрын
Correct. If you are thinking of a clock, the hip bump is in the 12 o'clock direction
@petercrocitto73832 жыл бұрын
For right handed golf’s if one was to error, is it better to error to 1 than 11?
@sharkieshark25912 жыл бұрын
But where is 12 o’clock? I thought you said earlier that the bump was towards the target and back, so as a result approx. 45 degrees back?

When it comes to our older members, we like to have their address position promote a bigger turn. 1) drop the trail foot back a little 2) flare trail foot 3) Initiate the 1 inch hip bump Try these at set up to promote a bigger turn
