Ricky, that GoPro wide angle footage is brilliant, it's so good to see the car being worked on up close and I love that it gives a better, easier-to-see general raw view compared to the usual part detail shots from the main camera with the shallower depth of field. Even if it wasn't on purpose, it's definitely a happy accident, please use it more often!

Given the removal of some parts were not shown plus the hassle to wiggle engines like these out I think it goes someway to show why labour cost can cost as much as they do. Gives an appreciation of the patients needed when working on super cars. On top of that the learning and training on multiple manufacturers I take my hat off to you guys. Love all the technical stuff great videos guys 👍

Those are safety shoes in a trainer style. Very common now, give toe and sole puncture protection. Not as good as a full boot because your ankles are not supported but perfectly acceptable in a flat workshop where ankle rolling is not a high risk.

Springs ok. But why all new valves? The problem started with the spring that broke. Honest question.

We don’t have music on in videos due to copyright claims. Working on top of ourselves is just the pain of the workshop. It’s too small for us now. Everything goes on trolleys but the displaced parts on a job this size is massive!

Why replace all valves and springs when only one has failed? I get the principle if you were planning on keeping the car, for safety sake. But if flipping, then replace what broke and reuse what you can, no?

Would you want to buy the car someone cheaped out a repair on? We do it properly because that’s how I work. The people cutting corners on these types of cars end up with me getting repaired properly! When you damage one shoe, you don’t just replace that one….you replace the pair!

From 7 July 2024, all new cars will legally have to be fitted with a speed limiter The UK is will be adopting the new speed limiting rules, even after Brexit The driver will still be responsible for adhering to the speed limits All new cars that are launching or have been launched in the European market need to be fitted with an Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA) by 7 July 2024 according to the 2019/2044 regulation by the European Commission. This means any existing unregistered cars on forecourts will have to be retrofitted with a speed limiter before they can be sold. This mandate comes after the European Commission's legislation that made it a legal requirement for all new vehicles sold in Europe to be fitted with a speed limiter from 6 July 2022. All new cars in the UK will also have to follow these new road safety regulations despite leaving the EU, as even after Brexit, the UK has retained most EU laws for new cars. This mandate will help in standardising the car manufacturing process for different markets. Using speed limiters successfully would also be a step forward in developing self-driving cars in the UK.

What a horrendous job for something that should not fail in reality unless being raced.... My guess is totally crap spring material.... l reckon the conversation in the Lambo conference room with the engine R&D department was, shall we use the £1.99 valve springs or the £2.09 quality ones.... then the newly graduated shiny arse says, yes lets go with the £1.99 ones.... Then he gets promotion in record time for cutting production costs, perfect😅. The above scenario is exactly what happened when l worked directly for a massive Swedish Truck manufacturer when the heads started dropping off exhaust valves & taking engines with it in the process, as most Truck drivers are experts in driving to destruction😅.... The best bit was, this was in the vehicle warranty period......oops😮.

Don't know what it be like if you done like a couple of full engine rebuilds and put it on a time lapse might end up as popular as 'watch restoration' vids . Unless you think someone could slow down the time-lapse to normal speed and your "ARMING IDIOTS" If that is a possibility ,edit out some key stages maybe. Just a thought it might be hard to stop watching once you start , maybe some narration talking through the basics in lehmann's terms. Maybe a time-lapse engine strip or re-fit . Not sure if you or anyone's done/doing similar. Just an idea I think would catch the shortterm attention span that's womed it's way into society . "Be like scrolling through instagram". Keep up the good work. Your Workshop/garage AKA SURGERY is polar opposite to most's idea of a workshop . What was the alias 'GREASE MONKEY' FUCK MR MORE LIKE SURGEONS . PEACE OUT JAY MARSHALL
