Number one tip from an 80 year old pro photographer... if you don't know much about photography KEEP THE LIGHT BEHIND YOU, NOT BEHIND YOUR SUBJECT. That's a pro situation. i.e. Avoid BACK LIGHTING until you learn what to do. Side lighting is nice, slightly above shoulder level. Don't know what you're doing? Select AUTO EVERYTHING and keep the light BEHIND YOU. Look to have light reflecting from their eyes, and have them turn 45 degrees to the camera and turn towards it.... makes hips look slimmer girls and boys.

I think fuji make great little flashes for cameras...the X100 cameras are also built in flash I know I'm biased towards fuji but.the classic neg sums look great.. My other tip...small camera ....don't rock up with a BIG camera and big lens

thanks for the videos Sergio :D Taking photos is a hobby for me but I got booked for a wedding party in september. I've never done weddings before and I want to do it good. The part about not flashing to much is stuck with me because I would probably use my tamron 17-70 2.8 on my Sony a6600 but im also a bit worried thats its going to be to dark. Would you say a prime without a flash could be a better pick than a zoom and mabye the flash ontop ? I also dont want to annoy the guests and its all indoors so, might be pretty dark there.

Shooting a group of people at 1.8 is a big no-no. Prime or not, you probably won’t be shooting wide open if you’re taking pictures of groups. Learn the flash, your photography will thank you for it. ✌️ Have fun!
