I understand the logic of not allowing infinite photo deletions but when the photo system is that bugged only allowing 2 photo deletions is super punishing. The other day I had a ghost standing in front of me in dots, got the most clear dots photo ever and didnt get a single star lol.

I remembered the time when insym second guessed himself as a phasmo pro It was a dark time. But it wasn't the mimic that fooled him (like changing into a deo and chasing him out from his hiding spot) or the ghost gambling hoping it was a banshee only to realise it was an obake. It was the damn spirit making insym think it was a poltergeist many a times and making insym second guess himself xD.

Good way to tell if the breaker turned off because of the ghost or because of too many lights on. Ghost: lights will remain on when you switched it on again. Too many lights: Lights are all off. May be very obvious, but honestly took me quite a while to notice that. 😅

at 13:04, he lit his candle. In maps that have them, always light the candles in the house. At worst, you get a little extra light and maybe a chance for an interaction photo, and it's not a consumable. Free candle ftw.

I actually go out of my way not to light the house candles. Based on my experience with them it seems they can randomly go out without the ghost interacting with them, which messes up my Onryo tests if I'm not constantly watching the candle to make sure it was actually the ghost blowing it out. If I had to guess this might be a bug where the game thinks it should run out of burn time like the player candles do and so it turns it off on a timer, but I haven't done any testing

@@josiahkiehl510 it would be nice to be able to put them out. It could mess with an Onryo test if the candle is in the ghost room or nearby when it hunts, but that's very specific areas in a map. Overall, I like having more chances for interactions and pictures. I tend to go for perfect games though. To each their own though, that's what makes it fun.

22:30 yes the light from the motion sensor is very small, but when all you need is a guiding beacon to know which direction to run in the dark hallways, i.e on sunny meadows, prison or high school, that's still pretty useful. Plus if youre getting chased you can get salt photos or even uv evidence out of it

that Banshee info with changing ghost rooms is really interesting, I hope the devs keep it in for the sake of making one of the potentially most annoying no evidence ghosts a little more bearable

11:54 Idk if anyone else has had this experience with the Goryo, but I just realized that the reason it seems (at least from my experience) the Goryo roams a lot is because, if it works like the Banshee, it doesn't have the ability to do long roams. So it instead does only short roams, staying close by its room and interacting with stuff in the immediate vicinity--which means you're pretty much always going to be nearby to see when it does something

12:10 The way you yourself explained it, the Banshee's ability replaces long roams, so every time the Banshee would do a long roam, it instead does its stalking ability to go to a player. For the Wraith and the Phantom, it seems to be a separate ability that's not tied to long roams, so they can still long roam, thus be able to change ghost room.

I think all i really need to work on myself is learning how to loop. I can identify the ghost easily thanks to these videos, but I have yet to successfully loop lol. I started playing a little less than month before the blood moon event with my friends and we played only blood moon maps, so I was definitely scared for my life being a nooby playing on blood moon, but these videos helped me keep an eye out on the abilities at least. Just wish I could tell my old nooby self that hiding in the bathroom on willow is not actually a good spot lol

As Deaf player its impossible to identify ghosts without evidence and Apocalypse, they need to add subtitles and text chat in game please.

I agree, I can't hear the footsteps 95% of the time (especially over weather effects, the more noise there is the less I can distinguish what it is) I have to rely on the light/screen on parabolic unless it does a proper chatter or banshee scream. Subtitles would make this game accessible for me. I can't play harder difficulty alone. They should introduce something similar to what Fortnite has for their footsteps for deaf people, so it's visible on the screen. It makes the game less fun when it's something I can't use properly due to having so much hearing loss.

We had a Ghost some days ago in Asylum that flicked the light of immediatly like 3times in a row. It was NOT a Mare... Trolling Ghosts all around We also had a Raiju that had so much speed it shot me and my mate to oblivion. Game Crashed and game counted double for the weekly :D

Sometimes the games are bugged. I had Ghost orbs, ghost writing, and EMF 5 (which no ghost has) so easy to assume that it was a mimic. No someway somehow it was a spirit?

@@Baconcatboy That doesn't necessarily mean it was bugged. You could have misread evidence. Ghost orbs could have been snow, rain or a light in the background, and a lot of people mistake emf 5 during a hunt or event for evidence when it's not, it only counts with interactions.

57:00 - It's actually very noticable once you know^^ The ghost can only throw something when they're in a room with the lights being switched off. Probably the most unintuitive thing in the game, like it took me more than 300 hours to gain that knowledge after someone told me.

2:10:08 Why would that be the reason they changed it? Part of the advantage of upgrading the photocams is the reduced delay for the photos to process. They changed it so you couldn't cheese a feature they want in the game, which is that taking a photo delays you from doing another action. Throwing the cam shouldn't just make that not happen, THAT was the bug and they fixed that.

The monkey paw can lock the ghost in their favourite room so if you do it in a large hallway you could also use it to detect the ghost room.

24:39 every ghost can throw things every half a second during a hunt depending on their "personality" that game, its just that poltergeists throw a lot faster than them the 0.5 per second is just false info from tybayn (cheat sheet) that hasnt been fixed for YEARS similar to the mimic orb that did get fixed a year ago

Maybe it’s specific to the banshee because it’s specifically stalks one target so it’s teleport isn’t as big of an issue give you could almost consider the person it targets as its ghost room

This happened to me earlier today. I walked into the starter house with me and my friends. Intermediate difficulty and we found the bone and the mirror. Didn’t open any doors or even have the chance to turn power on. Used the mirror once to find the ghost room and immediately got hunted. Looked at my sanity and had 75 sanity. I guessed what it was and guess what it was? A demon. And i thought it was a ghost event because it seemed too early to hunt😂

I actually did do that in a game just recently with a bunch of low levels it was between wraith and twins. The ghost wouldn't show dots or freezing temps it keep throwing books in the ghost room then hitting the piano in living room I'm like has to be twins till I went to put salt down and an it didn't hit no salt so ik instantly

I think that the chance of Beleivers to win is a 0.17%(1 over 24 times another over 24). But considering if you count Mimic so we are down to 23 instead which is an almost 0.19% chance for an each game. Maybe not correct with math, but I am sure it's way not 1 in 12(or I misheard you?)

Does it matter what kind of photos you take for a "perfect run" for the bonus? I mean, it seems like you need bone, ghost and cursed object picture. (if not, correct me) But what about the rest? Does it matter if they are interactions, UV stuff (handprints, feet), or disturbed salt? Or are those all the same basically? Or do you just need all pictures to be 3-star but doesn't matter what kind of pictures?

Doesn't matter what photos as long as they're 3 star. You don't need to take a ghost/bone/cursed object photo to get a perfect game (unless of course getting a ghost photo is one of the optional objectives)
