22:30 yes the light from the motion sensor is very small, but when all you need is a guiding beacon to know which direction to run in the dark hallways, i.e on sunny meadows, prison or high school, that's still pretty useful. Plus if youre getting chased you can get salt photos or even uv evidence out of it

I think all i really need to work on myself is learning how to loop. I can identify the ghost easily thanks to these videos, but I have yet to successfully loop lol. I started playing a little less than month before the blood moon event with my friends and we played only blood moon maps, so I was definitely scared for my life being a nooby playing on blood moon, but these videos helped me keep an eye out on the abilities at least. Just wish I could tell my old nooby self that hiding in the bathroom on willow is not actually a good spot lol

Considering your question why the Banshee’s roam vs the Phantom and Wraiths roam. Unlike the Phantom and Wraith that teleport to the player. The Banshees actual ghost model travels to the player. This may be detected by using salt or a motion sensor near the target player and the player stands in a room nonadjacent to the ghost room. If using this way to find a banshee remember to place the salt or sensor near an entrance to the room. This was discovered in Beta and was one way to find a banshee before they added to cool banshee scream. This practice was discarded as it’s not well known. Thank you Insym for the guides in Phasmo. They jump started me when I was getting ghost hugs all the time when getting hunted.

Idk if you copied that from somewhere lol, but I'm pretty sure the Phantom physically walks to the player as well, like the Banshee does--but apparently using a different function that doesn't overwrite the long roaming, for whatever reason

I understand the logic of not allowing infinite photo deletions but when the photo system is that bugged only allowing 2 photo deletions is super punishing. The other day I had a ghost standing in front of me in dots, got the most clear dots photo ever and didnt get a single star lol.

The monkey paw can lock the ghost in their favourite room so if you do it in a large hallway you could also use it to detect the ghost room.

Maybe it’s specific to the banshee because it’s specifically stalks one target so it’s teleport isn’t as big of an issue give you could almost consider the person it targets as its ghost room

12:10 The way you yourself explained it, the Banshee's ability replaces long roams, so every time the Banshee would do a long roam, it instead does its stalking ability to go to a player. For the Wraith and the Phantom, it seems to be a separate ability that's not tied to long roams, so they can still long roam, thus be able to change ghost room.

What happens if the Onryo blows out the candle for the 3rd time, but you are outside of the house? Will it start a hunt once you step in? or will the candle blowout not count? or..? Anyone knows?

It seems that after blowing out the 3rd candle, the ghost is given a 6 second period of time to use its ability (the hunt). So im guessing if your outside while it blows out the candle, it cannot start a hunt because your not in the house, but if you enter within 6 seconds, it will use its ability to start a hunt. At least i think so, take it with a grain of salt

Wouldnt the candles also blow out more often even if not an onnryo based on low sanity due to increased activity when sanity is low? making it not always an onryo if sanity is low. Also could you inquire to the devs when console is getting voice recognition for box and board tired of dying because I'm stuck in text to speech menu.

Obviously yes but the onryo would hunt after 3 candles which is a pretty obvious way if knowing its the onryo and you shouldn't really be doing onryo tests with low sanity that ruins the entire purpose and can give false results

9:50 I actually wanna tell a little story that happened last night when I played with 2 friends with an Oni We got EMF 5 and Freezing so our options were Shade, Oni, Jinn, and Twins. It turned off the breaker so we ruled out Jinn and we weren't getting any Twins behavior, leaving us with Shade and Oni. The ghost DID do an airball and it wasn't being too active with us in the room so we thought it was a Shade, but as we were leaving one of my teammates saw DOTS and confirmed it was an Oni that did an airball CJJJJJJJJJ EXPLAIN

I think the most hard ghost that you find out on no evidence challenge is Banshee.

Banshee is super easy even if you don't get the scream and your playing solo it's a stalking ghost just look to see if you get followed everywhere
