This is sweet and all but... we have a supernatural thing down here in the Caribbean called 'guard rings' where its said that putting the spirit of a dead loved one in a ring would protect the wearer, hence the 'guard'. I can't help but imagine how crazy the whole superstition would get if the people down here, especially Jamaicans got hold of this...

If i were to do this id make it uncut so instead of losing parts of your loved one during the cutting of the diamond you could keep the whole part of it for a larger peice thatll be harder to lose if it were dropped or fell out of the ring Plus the rough shape seems just more natural to me
