He gets paid based on performance. Wal Mart has a legal, ethical, and moral obligation to it's stock holders to turn a profit. A $16 an hour employee isn't going to make a difference to the bottom line. If that employee doesn't like $16 an hour, go somewhere else. Walmart CEO doesn't want people to know how insanely dependent they have become on China. At the very least we need these companies we all depend on to turn to other countries for goods. We can no longer ignore the China issues just so Walmart can buy cheap products to sell in the US for much more. It's time Walmart and all the other greedy corporations show some patriotism and do the right thing. They should have started moving supply chains out of China long ago. I for one am NOT going to feel sorry for these money hungry corporations that clearly are against the tariffs.
