Absolutely. That was the concern at the START of the season-in addition to having depth at TE should someone go down. That is what Matt Pheme and Erik of Autzen Audible said last week. It was not as good (at Safety) as it should have been. You need someone elite at that position if you are going against a Dounze or someone of his caliber. Safety's is a priority because of the talented receivers we are going up against next season. Replacing the D-Line is also a priority since Oregon is losing 4-5 dudes there as well. Dorlus, Rogers, PoPo, Taki, and Burch are leaving-though I thought Burch was coming back. Burch has been super as an Edge Rusher dude. Need someone like him at that spot.

Jordan James is such a beast, they need to put him to work. In the PAC12 Championship they were finally moving their offense and got the lead when they started relying on JJ. Nothing against Bucky, just at that time they needed a north & south guy with JJ getting it done but when they went to Bucky on the next series it was too much east & west trying to juke from him on 2 downs getting little yards, then they went 3 & out. They score on that drive and very well win the game. Then the playoff selection woulda been an even bigger mess 😅 I think Oregon would do much better to rely on JJ and the rest of the back they got & instead go after the trenches, maybe some WR or secondary help. The Oklahoma State guy is fantastic, seems it very well could be resources & energy pointed in a direction that's already their strength to me

duck fan here, I want to see that defense SEC tough. I really think its the reason why we always "choke" in terms of making the playoff. Look at how the first half of the pac 12 championship game went. A tougher group of DBs and maybe they only give up 10 points instead of 20. FSU is another good example.
