The problem a lot of people defending Quantum TV seem to miss is the fact that he started trash talking the Elder Ring community as a whole. I'm one of those people that was in the TV setting community after I bought a new TV and wanted to learn about its features. It is then arbitrated by youtube, or the courts if need be. It is never abuse for the original copyright holder to make a claim. Claim abuse is only by someone who doesn't actually have the rights.

I only knew about Quantum TV because I was researching possible tv replacements in case the panel on my TCL failed. I didn't replace it, but his review stuck out to me, because it advertised his channel. So I took a look, he has horrible takes. If you don't have an OLED, you have a garbage tv; that's the type of guy he is. He shouldn't be taken seriously.

Anyway I’m not here to go in-depth with TVs. He states that hdtvtest also gets paid by Sony, Lg, etc but points out the promotion tab on his videos which is for companies hdtvtest promotes idk like some BOX company. You are allowed to offer a "fair use defense" in your counter notification. It is then arbitrated by youtube, or the courts if need be. Highly likely that if a KZbin agent actually told him to file a copyright dispute, it was because he told them that someone re-uploaded his deleted content without any context. He probably didn't tell them that it was a reaction/critique of his video and not just a direct re-upload. At which point, if and only if it actually happened, I would get why he would be asked to copyright claim that video.

This means that it means exactly nothing until you fight it out in a court of law. Ironically, Quantum has numerous videos on his channel where he offers critique of other TechTuber content, especially display reviews, which involves him speaking at length over video of their content. I love the soulsborne series but I see absolutely no reason not to have an easy mode in video games, simply because I'll never lay on easy mode anyway, so who cares? EXCEPT with FromSoft games.
