Going to family cabin on a🤿lake in North Central MN.🛶Spending time with🎣family, boating, BBQ🌭and our small little town does a very nice fireworks display at dark🇺🇸God Bless the USA!

We took a ride to Kewanee, Illinois to visit Family today. It was so much fun, got to see the Corn and Soy Beans, it is always good to see the corn knee high by 4th of July. RAIN is in the Forecast all weekend , so mosquitoes will be fierce. I have to work 4th of July Morning, we go to a Potluck BBQ at Church. It is always so much fun. We will go see Fireworks weather permitting. I always want a Hamburger, pork and beans, corn on the cob and Watermelon, and potato salad.

The Lupines were beautiful. In the Spring Illinois has Bluebells. Blue Flowers always look beautiful in that late Spring early Summer bright sun. That was such an awesome stop. I am so happy you made your boat. I was worried for a minute. Good thing your working out, I remember last year you should how you parked. Boy it was so much fun on the Ferry, it was so windy and fast. The Family reunion was so sweet. Can't wait to see the Hamm Adventures this trip. Never disappointing, always thrilling.

I agree with Bennett, both are good. Sometimes I just want Red Vines but some Red Vines aren't as good as others, I hate buying them and getting dried out tough ones instead of nice soft ones. I loved the drive and that you told us about places as you passed. It made it that much more special.

Wow, that surely is a fair whack of a trip to get to the cabin. Your 5.5hrs drive time would take me from where I live in Palmerston North, to my sister's in Tauranga, then the time on the ferry and boat, would get me to Auckland. Maybe the boys could look up in an atlas where these places are and see how small New Zealand is. The trip above covers about 3/4 of the North Island of New Zealand. Here in NZ we also have to do the through the town or city and stop lights! Lol. Have a lovely time at the cabin. The scenery we could see was beautiful 😍

Hello from Philly, PA here..We are having a family BBQ and watching the fireworks on the Delaware River near Center City Philadelphia..(The one that is on TV nationally for Fourth of July and New Years Eve..That is an awesome the way you travel to your cabin!! It is beautiful there!! Alaska is even more beautiful..God's country!! I know what that is like to have smoke in the air.. When I lived in Montana forest mountain fires every summer.. I lived in a small town in the mountain area..Smoke was in the air every summer. I loved living there. I miss the lifestyle!!
