How to fix Red LED Light Flashing On Touchscreen Miele T1 Series Selection Tumble Dryer

The Miele T1 Series Tumble Dryer is an excellent machine but require regular maintenance so to keep the system working in the normal parameters. If you have the T1 series and it won't work due to a flashing red light on the touch screen then this is how you fix it, Thanks for watching!

OMG thanks for that last comment on opening and shutting the door...I've cleaned and cleaned the filters the past 24 hours and still the red light was on. Was about to call a tech person - glad I googled this and found your video THANKS!!

Thanks for posting these. We recently bought the washer/dryer combo and while the washer is holding it’s own, the dryer is as delicate as a wallflower. So delicate I feel like I’ve bought the FIAT (fix it again Tony) of the dryer world. Hope I’m wrong but thus far I am not impressed with this brand.

Thank you! ♥️ All I needed to do after cleaning the filter was close AND open the door AGAIN, some built-in trolling superstitious sequence that they could have included in the instructions! I had cleaned it all three times in a row thinking I didn’t do it enough, and placed back but the simple opening and immediately closing after is like a reset? Thanks again. Utter useless additional action they built in. After cleaning it multiple times still giving the red light all because I didn’t do the simple open and close … I thought I was going mad and was already cursing the mechanic and costs they might claim ..

Any idea what a rapid flashing green start/add laundry light means? I’m at my wit’s end with this machine. Had a Miele condenser dryer and other Miele appliances before and loved them, so no hesitation in buying another, but I hate it. Takes so long to dry a load of washing, clothes quite often still feel damp after a long drying cycle and the damned flashing red light as above, error codes and this rapid flashing, which is not mentioned in the manual anywhere. I knew to expect longer programmes with a heat pump dryer, but I seriously could not leave a good review of this machine. Only bought four months ago…not what I’d expect from Miele and I’m wondering if I’ve actually got a faulty machine. Any advice on the green rapidly flashing light would be appreciated thanks!

Has anyone figured out how to shut off that incredibly annoying buzzer that sounds off every 5 seconds after your drying is finished? The instructions by Miele say to open the door then press the START/STOP for a few seconds (and many steps after that) but the minute you open the door the option to press the START/STOP option disappears.
