Mercedes Vito 2009 W639 gear change is stiff, worn, sloppy or play selector bush replacement how to

We recently bought this van and noticed that the gear stick was sloppy/had play when shifting weren't that accurate, fortunately this is a simple fix and we replaced the gear selector bush (link below). There were minimal tools needed, although you will need a T25/20 torx bits/socket, additionally you may also want to use an IRWIN Quick-grip clamp to remove the gear knob but that's optional.

I just wanted to have a reference video to watch before I tried removing and replacing broken one. Do you have one. If not, do I have to remove part of the dash to do it please.

@@MatthewCoyle-q3y We don't have a video at the moment, should have filmed one really. However the cable is easy to remove, under the passenger side dash there's a section with screws and hinged that makes it easier to remove/install the new cable that's the first piece of advice I can give. The cable is located at the back of the battery area and comes through via gromet, so you can use the old cable to pull the new one through or some wire.
