Great stuff ! Thank you for sharing your journey !! I agree about the parking garages not working good for trucks. I take my wife to Duke University Hospital two times a year. Been taking her for 29 years. I have a 4 door Silverado and I usually end up on the top deck too. I am praying for Lawrence especially and also the rest of the family ! Those are Asian Lady beetles. Our bean fields are loaded with them this time of year and through combine season. They play an important role in controlling pests and can be helpful in most cases. However, there are one species of ladybug, known as the Asian Lady Beetle, which can sometimes become a nuisance. Asian lady beetles are often found near homes and buildings as they search for a place to overwinter. One species of ladybug, in particular, can be a nuisance when they fly into buildings and find overwintering sites indoors. While their presence may not always be harmful, it is important to be aware of them and take steps to prevent Asian lady beetles from invading your home or property. Once the beans are combined you will see them around the house and hopefully not to many get indoors.

Glad .You didn't get any damage from that storm. Here in NH we have been high 90s and humidity at 90+. We had a microburst come down my road on Thursday and uproot a poplar onto my house. Thankfully it's not major damage, but am waiting for the insurance to get in touch with me again. Sent them all the pics, and I paid the tree company to get it off the house, and they tarped it for me too. Finally cooling down here.

Through these hard times when we're all being called upon to be strong and self-sufficient, and faced with adversity and bad circumstances, just remember that soon we'll be hearing the lovely buzz of the cicadas, the "heat bugs" of August. When you're feeling low, just close your eyes and think of yellow peppers, one of God's many wonders. At harvest time, when it's time to pick those yellow peppers, it's as if you're picking the "capsicum sum of the sun of one summer." Take care and God Bless. .

It's so interesting to see what y'all are doing as the days and the seasons fly by!!! Talk about flying by around here it's been so busy with attending and filming area music events, getting photo entries ready for the county fair and talent contest!!! Like you it makes the weeks fly by like the white lines on the highway!!! Again we could use some of the rain as it's getting to be very concerning for us here in Central MN. If you freeze corn off the cob try this way for super cream corn.Cut corn about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way down the kernals then using the back of your knife scrape the cop removing all the wonderful tasting corn juices left on the cobs. When you use in winter just add 2-4 tbls of butter into each pint of corn. You can try this fresh off the cob also as a preview of what a delicious delight you will be having in the cold of winter.

It's mild here in Lower Alabama. Only in the 80s and that is good for July. Getting plenty of rain here too. Your audio quality is very good. I heard Lawrence drive the seeder out of the barn (via headphones) and he drove right across my room. I heard all the clanks and clinks of farm machinery. You microphone setup is very good.

The way the weather has been in my area over the last few years, we cut down every tree that could possibly hit the house and garage. Wasn’t cheap but it is better than dealing with insurance. Stay safe 🌲

Try a small metal measuring cup for your drop biscuits. Spray measuring cup with baking spray so batter doesn't stick. Great trick for drop biscuits

Here in Maine we are at 90 degrees with 71 percent humidity. I just had my right knee replaced and at twenty days out this 70 year old is at 140 degrees flection. Hope Lawrence gets his done soon. He will feel so much better. Love and prayers to all your beautiful family.

I love the fact that you always know what your farmer needs and just do it you can also see this is the kid's you can tell they love and respect ya'll so much if all I children was raised this way our future would be so much better I feel that kid's raised like yours will be our future. My mom had her first knee done about 12 years ago she did the other about 3 years ago at 91 did amazing just do what the doctor says power through the physical therapy and he will be so happy when both are done is back should also feel better. Those are Larch Ladybirds, also known as Larch ladybugs. It's said that they're a different color to camouflage them to help protect them from predators like birds They're great to have around your crops because they eat a lot of other types of bugs that are harmful to crops/plants.
