Both are beautiful. Taller ceilings are preferable. Exterior of the Beckett is lovely. Hard to choose with pros and cons to both. Whatever you choose you will make it stunning.

Margot model is by far the better option!!! Pros: taller ceilings, owner's suite is away from other bedrooms, closets come before the owner's bathroom (that's a deal breaker for me!), love the side entry garage. Con: No front porch. Blessings and Best of luck!😊

Goodness the first house is my choice VERY EASILY! You practically gain another office space in the 2nd home and that's about it, but the first home offers so much more. Better dining space, pretty much 2 living room areas upstairs and downstairs, larger bedroom and closet spaces, HUUUUUGE garage and taller ceilings.

Both homes are beautiful. Brittany, we think alike a lot. Always thinking about where to put the Christmas trees😊. I think we moved into our new construction home round about the same time you guys moved into your home. And now, just like you guys, we are looking to move again. We want a home on a lake. I LOVE the Beckett!!! But I am partial to more of a Farm House look. The front of the house looks so grand and I can picture your home at CHristmas time with the garland coming down the stairs. Both homes are beautiful but the Beckett looks more you two style ❤

I really love both homes especially the kitchen in the Beckett but I think the Margot would be my choice due to the layout and the taller ceilings. The Margot has a larger garage which would give you more storage for your Christmas Decor.

Hi Brandi! We have a Fischer Home, The Avery and our bedroom has its on floor and we love it! From what you've shown honestly, I don't like either floor plan but if I had to choose, it would be the Beckett. The Paxton is a larger Avery with the owner's suite with its own floor. We looked at Twin Lakes, nice subdivision. Happy hunting!

We have Fisher Homes here in Louisville, KY. The layouts in Atlanta, GA seem better on the use of space in the layout. Either one is great I'm sure you guys will put your custom spin on it. Keep up the great work. Me and my wife love the channel.

Okay so the orientation of the living room and kitchen for me in The Beckett is top notch. I love how the family room is off to the side and the kitchen and eat in portion of it are separated and feels like it's own space that alone would probably make me go in that direction. Yes I like the Cafe products also but I would have those white cabinets painted some shade of blue either a Navy with Gold hardware or a Coastal Blue with Black hardware and the Island would be white. I do not like white cabinets it''s in every house now and so overdone it irks me lol. I love the front and back stairs it's something I always wanted as a kid in my house when I got older.

Thank you. Not color scheme at all but I can appreciate that you love it. I feel like white is timeless. Colored kitchen cabinets are very trendy and I feel like I would get over them really quickly. Which ever home we choose I definitely will be sharing everything I pick out at design.

I like the first one more. Owner’s Bedroom on the main, it’s private , the sunroom/dining, the loft upstairs. Those are structural elements would be expensive to change in the second. You can add stairs of your choice to it. Only thing I don’t like is the garage and front entry of the first

I want to advise you be aware of any water that will come toward the house from a slope or hill, (both houses look to be lower than a slope to the outside back. Water in the yard and around foundation can be a huge problem & you could have flooding (ask me how I know).

Thanks for the advice. I wouldn’t be buying either of these homes. I was just viewing the floorplan. I plan on buying in a different city and picking out my lot with a green belt behind. Similar to what I have now.

Thank you. I lived in Newnan Ga when I first moved to Ga but I love the Alpharetta area which is on the north side. I also chose it because of the school district for my kiddos and the increased property values. The Northside of GA reminds just has more diversity for me and reminds me of home (California) a bit in that aspect. Hope that helps.

I like both floor plans for diff reasons. The 2nd one had the open layout but that wet bar placement is weird. The 1st ones bedrooms & kitchen was really nice. It's a hard decision to make.

I like the Margot floorplan better. Is it possible to get a custom builder to build your own plan to get exactly what you want? I don't know anything about custom builders, but you have so many great ideas for your perfect house, and you can do some of the work yourselves.

Hello - Do you mind sharing your thoughts on living in a HOA community?

I don’t mind it. I mean yes, it’s annoying to have to ask permission to do something to the exterior of your home. However, I also like that it prevents someone from painting a purple home next to me. I get amenities like a pool and tennis courts, playground and trials in my current neighborhood. So that’s a plus. All in all I don’t mind it. You just have to find the right neighborhood and if they have an HOA drive around and see how those funds are being used. Is the neighborhood kept, do they have amenities? All things to consider.

⁠@@CJ3WTthanks for the additional info. Now townhouse living is entirely different in terms of the HOA. They normally cover the exterior of the building. So the roof, landscaping and so forth. An HOA in a subdivision does not cover those things. Sometimes landscaping but not structural issues. It’s required for townhomes because it’s a shared exterior building.
