Beautiful video, we have been married for 34y my husband still opens the door for me and holds my hand, I think it's the sweetest thing. The more selfless you are the better the marriage but the most important thing is to keep God in the center above all❤

To anyone else who has a husband who doesn't fit the stereotype of "wanting sex all the time in all the places" - you're not broken. Maybe you as the wife are the one who would like to be intimate more often and times when your husband is tired of unavailable you feel like a failure because of the largely taught "women need to be ever available for their sexual husbands" - you're not a failure. Every marriage looks different - do your best to have open conversations about it and figure out what works best for the two of you ♥️

I know what you're talking about here as in the beginning of our marriage my husband to was more like this we went through a very good counseling and I would strongly encourage this as our marriage change so much he was very locked up in his heart without even realizing this but our sex life is so different since ,please do know I realize everyone is different but if this could help someone then I want to share !!!

Thank you so much! My husband is a wonderful man but he can become so focused on other things that he can genuinely forget intimacy. That doesn't make him less of a man and it doesn't make me less of a woman.

And in this note hormone levels for men are often forgot. Womens hormones change and need attention, so do mens.

This is beautifully said. I can't even tell you the a ount of pain I suffered feeling there was something wrong with me because of this. The idea that " men want it all the time" ( which is a lie) made me feel like it definitely must have been me. I hope other wives that are going through that heed your advice here and don't take it upon themselves like I had.

Loved this video. My favorite peice of advise we received was that the tide goes in and out. Sometimes we're in a phase of marriage that seems slow and boring and then another stage we're we're feeling connected and its fun to be spending time with each other. So if you're in a phase where the tide is out ( maybe you've just had a newborn and there's not much sleep and lots of tension and uncertainty about how to navigate everything) don't worry the tide will come in again where you get more sleep, laugh together over things your child is doing and all of a sudden you're feeling a great connection with your spouse again 😊

My partner and I got pregnant 6 months into dating so we have had to learn a lot along the way and with my daughter at 19 months I was finding it hard to fall in love with the process of homemaking, mothering, being a good wife, etc & I was really really overwhelmed and my partner starting becoming dissatisfied with the home so I knew I needed to change but your videos are really helpful and I think my struggle with these things was more an unknowing of how to do it rather than a dislike so day by day I'm getting better & learning to love at being a homekeeper and I'm really grateful because motherhood and marriage and taking care of a home are so precious. thank you and blessings.

One of the major issues I have seen in young marriages is when children arrive the wife puts them first ahead of her husband. And not just the newborn years, it continues on throughout the children's lives. The wife becomes so focused on being a great mom, she forgets that she is a wife first. Then when the children grow up and move on, there is nothing left of the marriage because the husband has been neglected for so long.

I’ve always looked at it this way: Husband came into my life before our children. Without him I wouldn’t have our kids whom I love so much. It’s similar to man…How would God feel if a man started neglecting Him after his wife came into the picture?

For me and my hubby we may go to a little angry, we always I love you just give till morning to understand what you’re saying to me. Most mornings I usually understand what my hubby was trying to say to me or the other way around. After 43 years we have found what works for us as a couple. The last 2 days my wonderful husband got a yard of dirt and we are putting grass on bald spots on our yard. He has work so hard, yes I helped but he did all the heavy work. My husband is amazing guy. Sometimes we argue just so we can cuddle as our grown children think we are yucky for doing that! Because it’s always a stupid thing we are arguing about. You put your foot down to heavy! What ever! Is what I usually say. Well stomp your way over here your man needs a hug. Great men give you joy over just walking ❤

Thank you for speaking of and representing a Godly happy marriage. It is refreshing to hear positivity vs. the constant push in media to portray it as something so dreadful. I am fascinated in how you believe that some relationships will still be there in heaven but not the most important one with your husband? It seems to go counter to everything you are striving so hard to build. I believe our families can be together in that form and it will be one of the greatest blessings heaven can offer.

I agree with everything you said except for never going to bed angry. Sometimes you and/ or your husband need to sleep on the hard feelings. I loved this video and submission to the husband can be understood by a women walking with the Lord as in proverbs she is all out doing everything in the market place too but at the same time at home she is a home maker. It is beautiful to share your thoughts & opinions to your husband but in the end let him lead because God is his head and he is answerable to God. I have seen in India women are running after their career to make it big & to have money as the main goal but in all this children and marriage has suffered & led to numerous divorces and extra marital. I would love to share this video to my unbeliever friends trusting their hearts would accept it. God bless you❤️

Hi, sister. What about when the husband does not want more children, but the wife would like to try for a last one? Time is running out, and I already regret not having had another before my last one, now 2, there is "too much space" between him and the previous two. It is not desperation, but it sure is sad, I am kind of mourning. We don't use anticonceptives nor other barriers, but the idea freaks him out, it is sad to me.

Mark 12:25 and other gospels. Although it’s not talking about marriage in heaven because the Bible doesn’t say anywhere that we go to heaven when we die, rather the opposite, for example: No man has ascended up to heaven” (John 3:13). “David is not ascended into the heavens” (Acts 2:34). Jesus is returning to earth to set up Gods kingdom (mentioned so many times in the Bible and was part of the gospel preached by Jesus and the apostles) so we do not need to go to heaven if he’s coming to earth to raise the dead. The Bible says the dead have not yet been rewarded (so definitely not in heaven by most religions standards) “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and were persuaded of them and embraced them” (Hebrews 11:13).

Your entire video is about making your husband happy. Where are the tips on how you can make EACH ANOTHER happy jointly. Pretty lopsided marital advise. AND if you never say no to your husband sexually, how will he ever know when you don't want to be sexually engaged? Aren't you entitled to autonomy over your own body?
@LorryMLewis21 күн бұрын
Lordy! What I heard you say in #2 "Be Interested in HIS work and things that are important to HIM". What??? That needs to be corrected to say "Be interested in EACH OTHER'S work and things that are important to EACH OTHER". And this theme was in every "secret"! The secrets to a happy marriage are never one way dear, and you missed this very important key point terribly. I am so disappointed in hearing you say it that way. You sound like you are from another century! Whoa! :(😵💫
