Copying this list for myself! 😅 I do compliment my toddler every day. Lol If she does something I don't appreciate, I always try to see her reasoning. And she usually always trying to help me. And I thank her a lot. And then show her how she should go about it next time.

Hello from western Pennsylvania! My tip is to declutter, organize, or deep clean one thing everyday. I don't mean entire rooms, but simply a drawer or a shelf ect. Before you know it, spring cleaning will seem like a breeze. Bless you and your family

Hi, my tip is to always load the washing machine with clothes once in the morning and then put them away by the evening. I have kids and this tip I recently learnt has helped me alot. Before I use to wash many loads of clothes on the weekend and get overwhelmed, now I just do one load every day.

I love the tip...Complementing Someone Every Day. I've been doing this for a while now, and i love how it makes me feel as well as seeing a big smile and look of gratitude on someone's face. The other day in the supermarket, I told a woman how much I liked her cute shoes. She would've been over 80 years old, and she was so happy. I'm also grateful and feel blessed for the times I'm able to help people who need an arm to lean on crossing the road or are a few dollars short to buy something they need. I feel the Lord has put me there specifically at that time in the day where I am able to step forward and help. It certainly makes my day :)

Concerning meals...This year I implemented each child, ages ( 16,15,13,9) cooks 1 dinner a week. Once a month, we brainstorm and I write down the four meals each child choses. When I go grocery shopping 1x a week, I buy ingredients for the meals I’m making and include what they volunteered for. The requirements are it must have a balance of the food groups, must contain simple foods all 6 of us can eat( 1 with diabetes, 1 gluten free, 1 low salt) or include alternatives those people can have. The kids love the rule that whoever makes the meal decides what is included, or omitted as long as it’s healthy. No one else can whine cause it’s their night!

I love your tips! Before, I would've thought morning devotions never work for me, but recently my schedule has been to do a few morning todos before starting devotions. I do FlyLady app, and I find i can mark off swish and swipe (quick 1 minute bathroom clean), put the dishes away from the rack, and get a big glass of water and start devotions within 10 minutes of getting up

You've earned yourself a new subscriber! I loved this video first one I've ever seen of yours, I have been starting many new habits this year. One being that in the morning, I set my "suggested" ounce count of water in a pitcher with lemon juice and it's gone by the end of the night. Another habit I've picked up is morning devotionals, After I've made my husband's lunch and sent him off to work, I go to the office and pray and meditate until my daughter wakes up and joins me. It doesn't happen every single morning, but when it does happen I feel so good the rest of the day! 🤩

I like my thoughts written down, too!! No phone apps for me with planners and notes, lol. I found a daily desktop planner that has a whole section for breakfast, then lunch and supper, water intake, what I will do for exercise that day, and just what my plans are for that day!! There is plenty of room to write a lot of thoughts, so I wrote down scripture, etc. Then I have a devotional planner, and it has a section on each day that has where I can write down who I'm praying for and why... I love it!! I struggle with getting dressed every single day right now, mainly because I was put on prednisone, and my whole body is swelled and blown up... so my clothes don't fit... I've worked on finding church clothes for now since it's important to get to church:-) but haven't gotten to my day clothes yet, so I only have one shirt right now and two skirts.... and I'm not complaining at all. Just explainin:-), but you are so right and makes me excited to be able to get back to that point!! My husband has seen so kind and has told me that he honestly doesn't mind seeing me in pj's often and knows why I am right now. But I do make my hair nicer, and I get my girls' dressed most days... and I try hard to make sure it doesn't change what I do around the house! You're so right about hydration and healthy foods!!! I'm so into that!!!♡ love all your ideas!! Haha, I am always telling my husband to park far away so we can walk! :-) My favorite habit that my family even helps with is that the place is cleaned up before we go to bed. The next morning is just so much better!!!♡

I love hearing about all your habits!💗 and absolutely, SO grateful for husbands that are understanding. I’ve had times in our marriage (Lyme disease and later severe morning sickness) that have made it nearly impossible to even get off the couch, much less be on my feet getting an outfit together. I think the biggest thing for them is that we’re not just being careless, and will get back to doing more once we’re physically able.

For anyone who needs to see this: your worth is not tied to the clothes you wear or whether you wear makeup around your husband 😘
@thisgoldenhour2 жыл бұрын
Your worth is absolutely not defined by that!💗 I was just trying to encourage women to put in effort to look good for their husbands (don’t be a completely different person now than who they dated). But also to feel more productive themselves 😊
@annarocha3254 Жыл бұрын
Another point I would add is that our culture seems to insist on dressing up for everyone BUT your husband. I like to try to push back on that by doing certain special appearance related things only for my husband. Like putting on perfume that he likes right before he gets home. I don't really wear that perfume any other time, and it's something that is so easy to do that lets him know I was thinking of him.

Amen sister, I have a long “ schtreep” about women getting dressed in the morning.. give it to us young mama- there is no self respect or turn on for ur husband when a wife stays in her pjs and messy bun all day- or worse leaves the house that way🫣) ( by the way always love how u dress ANY given day) May we all inspire each other to TRY look our best every day 💖
@thisgoldenhour2 жыл бұрын
Yes!! It doesn’t have to be complicated, but a little effort into getting ready in the morning goes a long way 🥰
