@@jeanmichelP429the Chilena Health Dept and municipality is constantly controlling hygiene, food regulations, and permits on all restaurants and markets. They welcome any complaints from the public. The illegal street vendors have harmed alot of people with food poisoning. These people welcomed foreigners into their country to help them. All kinds of crimes have increased drastically, because of so many foreign crime organizations , that work in the streets of chile. The illegal street vendors help crowd the public ,so assaults and stealing can occur.

I think it’s the Chilean accent mixed with English. A casual Italian conversation sounds really really similar to casual non-vulgar Chilean spanish. But we do not have the Italian accent when talking with more emotions. Argentinians have a spanish similar to Italians when interactions get more heated in a good or bad way

Chile is currently a mix of an endless number of cultures. The Chilean culture serves as the foundation throughout the country, with Mapuche culture prevalent in the center and south. In addition to these local cultures, there is significant influence from the Altiplano, Bolivia, and Peru in the north. In the center, there is a mix of Central Americans, Caribbeans, Asians, and practically people from all over the world, including Peruvians, Bolivians, and I have seen some Argentinians. In the south, Italic, German, and Croatian cultures are concentrated, along with local cultures such as the Chilota or the southern Gauchos. Throughout the country, there is the Huasa culture, which is the heart of Chile. I would say it is the most authentic culture of what Chile is. The Huasos are, so to speak, the peasants and cowboys in Chile. Beautiful video as always, ACE I recommend that you visit San Pedro de Atacama in northern Chile, Valparaíso and Viña del Mar in the center, and Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt, and Chiloé in the south, as they are close to each other😁🇨🇱❤️🔥❤️🔥🌧

AL LOT OF THE PEOPLE THAT YOU THAT YOU TALKED ABOUT THEY ARE NOT PERMANENT IN CHILE. They came as floater populations. The Chilean population and the one who stayed in the country are mainly from Europe but the people from South America and the Caribbean who crossed the frontier of Chile illegally they won´t stay forever. When their own country return to the Democracy or gets a better economy they will return to their native countries. I think if the next president of Chile if it´s from Wright Wind and gets elected most like it many is going to be deported..

Im surprised you didnt mention the Spanish immigrants....Most Chileans are of Spanish descent...whats your point??
@igguilloda4383Ай бұрын
it should be noted that the first wave of venezuelans was received in chile with open arms. my family and i would comment on how THAT wave of venezuelans (around 2015 to 2019) was THE BEST thing to have happened to chile. the venezuelan upper and upper middle classes had/have largely migrated to the US, Spain, or elsewhere in europe, but it was the apriring young college educated LOWER-middle and middle-middle classes that first began coming to chile. these were often younger couples or young singles in their 20s looking to start life somewhere with clear rules and a thriving economy and chile was it. like the peruvians before them and the haitians after, these venezuelans were less prone to crime of any sort than the general population. But then that changed.... the venezuelan riff-raff began arriving in large numbers after around 2019. these were the same assholes who largely put chavez in power to begin with and the same people who contribute to the high degree of violence and crime in venezuela (if i'm not mistaken, venezuela has by far the highest murder rate in south america, and that's saying a lot!). so these people began disobeying the police and often fighting the cops on the street (that is something only for chilean univerisity students to do, not foreigners). these las couple of years the murder rate has double and there have been many high profile killings of police officers, most of which have been committed by venezuelans. furthermore, venezuelans are much louder and boisterous and chileans and from a chilean perspective they have little regard for how their actions affect their neighbors (chileans are very conscientious of this). nowadays, most of the violent crime is committed by recently arrived immigrants, usually venezuelan. so now venezuelans have worn out their welcome and face increasing hostility from growing number of chileans. it should be noted, nowhere in the world in the last 20yrs has immigration grown more than chile as a percentage of the population. chile went from being 2% foreign in the early 2000s to 10% now. that is a 500% increase in less than a generation.

@tantoquejodeoiga119717 күн бұрын
I live in Santiago and this is not true. The only difference is that garbage is now present in places that weren’t used to have garbage because of densification in the city. Chileans are almost just as dirty. I live in front of a street that has a street market every Wednesday and Saturday. If it wasn’t for the cleaning service provided by the commune, it would be even nastier. Anyways, it smells like fish the entire week, because they sell fish in it and they dump the dirty water in the floor

Not only renting an apartment is very expensive now in Santiago, but most landlords will ask for your income to be at least three times the value of the rent. So, if you have to pay U$D800 each month in rent, you'll need to make at least U$D2400 in order to even be allowed to rent it. Mind you the median salary in Chile is around U$D870 a month.
